I think it'd be hilarious is the final boss ended up being an unchanged Iggy.

The lategame has insane asm hacking and one of the best final segment in any hack I have ever played.

- though I have always had the impression that mods made exception when the total is more then the sum of the parts. I mean, even TSRPR has weird cut-off vines in parts, and smi2 gets pretty much in kaizo-range of difficulty about midway through.

And in that first pic's defense, the level IS called 'crazy lunatic'. It's meant to be as nonsensicle as possible visually.

It's just that this is a trend that happens with every internet project ever; more stuff just keeps being added and it kinda never ends. If you think it does not conflict, very well, go ahead, but that,s another thing - none of us has any idea of what is going on behind the scene. You say that dots is also not ready; I did not know that!

We're kinda in the dark over here, and that is what makes me speak up perhaps a bit too loudly.


edit: also, the current backlash was about that whole 'oh hey let's programme a slew of asm super bosses all in a row that totally won't take monthes to design and test'. Seriously guys, a bit of realism here!

As someone who is fighting against the hack difficulty 'arms race' this kinda makes me sad. Not in the 'sad' sense but you know. It's like... it's like it's not meant to be played. Looking at a tas is impressive, but i just don't understand the fun in 'oh boy I has to use slowdowns! YEEEAAAHHHH!!!'
I remember asking a mod, since on their wiki it says not to distribute the .ips file. I was told it was uploaded before by someone named 'vipper'.

Of course, I wonder if that makes sense since 'vipper' is not a single person but a collective, it's the name given to the whole group. And, well, yeah, it's written in red and in plain english not to distribute any of their hacks, so I don't know.

Was your ROM expanded?
Do you have any idea how any of the levels look like? Because worst case, for the sake of consistancy, people who don't request any specific music could probably have share with levels having a similare theme.

I'm not sure what you mean since it's a fairly straight-foward level - unless you mean the secret stage that requires you to have done all the switch palaces?

From what I gather a big part of the reason why the smwcentral hard level hack is taking so long is for that very reason.
