You don't need to patch anything. In your AddMusic folder goto asm/SNES/tweaks.asm and change the value of !PSwitch from #$06 to #$00.
Open the cfg file and check the "Don't disable clipping when killed with star" box.
The ROM map uses SNES addressing but a hex editor uses PC addressing which is why the addresses are different. A much simpler way to find the original value is take a look at all.log.

Description: I've listened to people's requests and I've decided to upload Boom Boom. This sprite does not emulate the SMB3 sprite perfectly but it is a close approximation. Make sure to check out the README for further instructions.

Tester's note: Goal sphere is generated at a fixed Y position, it seems.
Very inaccurate. Use Tsutarja's boom-boom instead.

Description: The same as the Falling Spike from the original game. It floats there, and if you get close, it shakes, and instead of falling, it rises upwards, rendering this a confusing and dangerous obstacle for players. It uses the same graphics as the original sprite, just flipped vertically, thus no ExGFX are needed or included. Give credit to Nekoh, as it was based on his disassembly of the Falling Spike.
PM me if you find any major errors with this sprite. There shouldn't be many, if any that weren't in the original SMW sprite.
This has been implemented as an extra bit option to the falling spike disassembly.
