I'm really new at mario hacking, never created a level before, but I'm really interested in participating in this competition.

I have a question:

What is exactly partial recoloring?

Lembra daquela fase "Triangle Dimension"? O que exatamente faz aquilo ser permitido?
I have already asked about recoloring, but I have a doubt about it yet.

In the first place of VLDC9, most pixels of the graphics were changed for black pixels.

This doesn't break the rules?
What did that level not be illegal?

You can merge palette colors. Multiple instances of black there are OK, to my understanding.

Ohh I see! So change the pallete isn't considered a "recoloring" process?

You can do whatever you want to the palette itself, in the palette editor.
The restrictions are only for actually drawing on tiles.

OK! I got it!

Thanks! ;)
What is the block that just enemies can step on, and Mario not?
I've seen it in some hacks, can anyone help me?
How can I change the specific sprites of a level working with ExGFX in the same time?

For exemple, use Ghost House graphics in the level 105?

When I change the #lm{gfxby} to Ghost House, it doesn't work, because I'm using ExGFX in my level.

How I'm supposed to do that?

Thanks! ;)

It's my first level of Super Mario!
I'm proud of it! #tb{:DD}

The numbers are in order of submission. So just find your post in the submission thread and check the numbers around that, and you'll find your number soon.

How exactly I find my number?

You can search for your name using CTRL-F.

If you had a name change since the end of the submission period, you'll want to search for your previous name.

I know where's my post, but how I know its number?

Ah, you search for your name on the entry list. Your number is the one beside your name.

Ow...
I was searching in the submission thread... Hahah
Thanks! :)
