Hey, this is my first post I make at the SMW Central!! But what I wanted to show a small video of my level, it has no download yet, because it is very incomplete and many things can be modified, even the theme of the level. But on the stage, it is (or was supposed to be) a space level, that the player many parts of the level will have to have help from the enemies and some objects in the stage to progress, for now, I think it is quite fun If play. Here the video:

The stage currently only uses level 136 (Star World 5) and level 137 (as sublevel), for now, does not use any kind of ExGFX, but has custom music, anything I can improve can quote below (it just does not count the end of the level, this will obviously be modified)

Thanks for the feedback, I'm trying to make the level as fun as possible, other ideas that I plan to put in the level:
-Stones that can fall through the pipes
-Try to place other planets and moons in the background (To match the theme)
-Try to make the goal a star (which neither Supet Mario Galaxy and Super Mario 64)

That's all the level is going to have for now, I'll probably try to find some more ideas for the level. #smw{:peace:}

The level is complete now!! You can download it from this link.

Now the level has a name, the level name is space odyssey (If you ask, yes, the level name is based on the title of the bizarre bootleg Mario 4 for Sega Genesis) about the stones that fall from the pipes, had no stone in fact, but several different types of enemies coming out of red skull pipes that neither in the screenshots below:



A very noticeable change from the old video version to the final version is that the turn blocks have been replaced by the "Mario" heads. (Just to show that the chargin chucks really hate Mario, even)



The background was also modified, the old version of the background was simply the same background as the original Star World 5, in the final version has some planets in the background, it is not a very beautiful scenery but nothing that hurt your eyes.



As Falconpunch said, The star uses the goal sphere as the base, but I put a 1F0 tile underneath, to really look like the star is floating in the air.

Thanks for the review, I'll try to put more obstacles and add an extra session to the normal exit in the update, I'll also try to improve the aesthetics and make The level design more interesting. :)

I take back what I said, I did a second version of the level today, If you want the link just click here. This level has some level design improvements (Many of them based on feedback and fan judges), I completely removed the boring parts of the level (The waiting parties and some other parts that did not work out), I also put some new obstacles and other changes in general, I'll leave here some screenshots demonstrating what's new in version 2.0.

New version released !! Space Odyssey 3.0. In this version, has new palette to the foreground of the first part of the level, Bug fixes, dangerous pipes with new graphics, and other small changes, here are some screenshots, comparing version 2.0 (left side) and version 3.0 (right side):

This part was not quite to be an anti-spin jump session, it was just to be a session for you to dodge the saws, even.

You don't need to be very precise in this part, it's pretty simple until, you just need to get past it when the Clapping Chuck is falling.

On the Thwomps, I'll modify it and make it faster in the next version, about the spikes, I don't think it's a problem they take a little while, since you need them to progress.

This was my first attempt to make a level for some Vanilla Level Design Constest, I tried to demonstrate a little bit of my ideas and bring fun to the player in this level. I'm just in doubt what would be the rank of the old version you had made.

Finally the final version of the level was released: Space Odyssey Final Version
There are not many differences from the old versions actually, I just made some small changes, one of the changes was the way to get the 3up moon, before it was only possible to get it by activating the green blocks, now you can get it after collecting all the dragon coins.



This is just one of the changes, thanks to everyone who gave feedback to the level. ^^

Yes, you didn't read wrong, I'm really planning on adding achievements to the "Vannila Level Contest Design 9", this only requires permission and achievement ideas for me to add, Link, some ideas that I plan to add in the set:

-Find at least one exit in each level of a specific world.
-Collect all the dragon coins from a specific world.
-Achievements specific to specific levels.
-Achievements to find every 3UP moon. (I'm going to need help in these, to know what levels have they)

This is just some of the achievements I plan to add, if you have more ideas of achievements for some level you will be welcome. (This is not an April Fools joke, I really plan to add achievements to this hack, I just need permission,I also plan to add it to VLDCX as well, when it's released)
