Nice, was wondering where you went.

Do you do a lot of practice runs before recording?
For those going to AGDQ, what days will you be there?

I’m considering a trip down there to see a friend and I could schedule it during the same time. While I may not go to the actual event, I could fit in some time for a meetup.
A few years ago I blew my chances with a really nice guy by being rude to him and not patient enough when he wasn't being as responsive to me as I was used to. I regret it as I felt there was some good potential there, but alas, you live and learn.
Awesome, I was thinking of going on January 5 and staying for a few days.
Right now I'm a toss-up between January 4-6 or 10-12.
No, unfortunately I never actually started work on a remaster and I don't see myself doing so any time in the near future due to my schedule.

That being said, if there was anyone else who'd wanna fix up the hack, even if it's just the music and compatibility issues, be my guest.
Discord group perhaps so we could coordinate as the date draws closer?
Cool, I don't know too much about Discord...do we need an admin to create an AGDQ channel?
I'll be down in Orlando January 10-12. Won't be at the AGDQ host hotel but a nearby one. Hope to see some people there.
The 2010s was a decade of many life changes, particularly a lot of personal growth. It’s the decade where I really became an adult, even though I was technically an adult in the previous one.

I moved out of my parents’ house and into an apartment of my own, learned how to be independent, found a job that I love, became more social, made lots of friends, dated, traveled, and more. I feel this was the first decade that I truly lived and I have a lot of fun memories over the past ten years.
I haven’t hacked a non-SMW game in years, but thanks. 👍🏼
I'm digging the new Mario sprite, definitely one I would use in a future hack. I was a fan of the older one as well. This new one definitely has that warm and fun cartoony feel to it.

So AGDQ has started yea?

I’ll be arriving in Orlando Friday afternoon and leaving Sunday morning. Anyone up for meeting up, even if it’s a quick hi? I’m staying close to the event’s hotel so I can pop in and say hey.
Y'all went balls to wall with them sprite-only and player-only solid blocks in this hack. #wario{O_O}

It was fun tho. Was pretty impressive to see how you could manipulate sprites to solve little puzzles and progress through the levels. Standouts would have to be the Boomerang powerup, Fire-Breathing Piranha, and Propeller Block levels. While every level had the same basic gimmick, there was plenty of variety to keep me on my toes.

Dope. #wario{:peace:}
So I'm considering a few trips for this year, including Frankfurt and Copenhagen.

For those who live in or have visited those cities, what are some fun and unique things to do there?

I'm a fan of quirky attractions. For example, when I was in Edinburgh I visited Camera Obscura & The World of Optical Illusions. Offbeat attractions, restaurants and bars like that are interesting to me so if anyone has any suggestions that'd be cool.
Thanks that's good information to know. I do like trying out new fast food spots in different cities. Particularly I was intrigued by the vending machine style fast food stalls in Amsterdam.

One of the reasons Frankfurt caught my interest was because of the availability of nearby landmarks such as Black Forest.

I also inevitably check out the gay scenes in new cities too because I like seeing how the differ (or relate) to what I'm used to here and that's pretty interesting to me.

Not gonna lie I wish that were me.

I'd also love to just meet more queer folk too.

Have fun!

I was in Portugal last July where was you?! #wario{<3}
Ah well congrats. #smw{:TUP:}

But actually, I was in Porto so quite far anyway. They only had one pretty lame gay bar in town.
