Edit: The #2 section in the music file seems to be causing an error. I tried simply getting rid of it, and the music worked, BUT most of the notes we're wildly incorrect. If anyone knows how to code, could you take a look at the problem? At various lines, the error reads "Musical interval is too high" ... which I have a rough idea of what that is, I just don't know how to fix it.
Edit 2: Nevermind. The link you provided has incorrect music, however in your actual files directory, the music works perfectly for some odd reason. Thanks!
It probably has to do with how my laptop copied it from the link you provided, or with how the file was copied and pasted into the forums. Maybe some data got messed up when you copied the link from your files to here? Its hard to say. But yeah I was messing with the code for a good hour before I decided to just download the one in your file bin. Immediately i noticed a huge difference just looking at the code, which was weird in itself. But hey, it works

This submissions contains a lot from the VWF dialogues patch, the powerups patch, all stuff I haven't touched before, so this was more of a mission to challenge myself. I also made a lot of the graphics, which as someone who isn't the best at visual art, was also a challenge.
I'd say the toughest part was actually making the trains exterior graphics, which you see in the welcome screen and the first section of the level where you enter the train. I based it off a smaller clipart image off Google, and scaled it up.
This is also my first entry into a contest, so I wanted to spend a lot of time on it. Hope you all enjoy!

But I need the whole of SMW’s vanilla overworld levels to be edited. And I’m only at donut plains as of the making of this post. I also plan on streaming some of it, while I make it.
One thing I’ll mention right now, its not a kaizo hack. Just a prank project for April fools, and I want some people to just help me with some basic level design.
The timeframe is from whenever I post this to march 30th. And each level, really, won’t take you any more than 2 hours tops, its really simple.

Since it obviously will not be moderated, for absolutely reasonable reasons, here's my April Fool's joke hack, I think mostly everythings fixed lmao. Might lag a bit, but, lets consider that a feature. Kappa.
Jesus damn that alot LOL. I hope you understand this is a joke hack in is, in no way, serious. I’m not gonna fix most of these nitpicks because they are just nitpicks. Some of it I will though, like dragon coins on screen boundarys. The yellow rex’s are meh, clipping in things a little bit, yeah maybe, but none of this can really be taken seriously. XD I appreciate the effort dude.
Edit: i’ll probably look at the red text more seriously. Chances are i’ll fix most of this but not right away. for now the star road is just there for decoration till levels are made, and i’m gonna probably take a short break from the project. Thanks for all this though i appreciate it

Lol i know, I just wrote everything that I noticed was kinda wrong.
If you're not going to do them all then at least the ones marked red, and maybe do something with star world too. Also please fix Donut Secret House's overworld stuff, I'd like to play Donut Secret 2 aswell
and here's my nitpicks for the valley fortress, castle #7, front door and back door:
In #7 Larry's Castle, some of the thwomps and thwimps get killed by the ceiling lava.
In Valley Fortress, I can use the common slope clip to go under the level, go as far right as possible, then get softlocked under the large slanted pipe.
Also it felt kinda weird how Valley Fortress was all dark and creepy and then there's the vanilla boss fight with the nice music and colors and stuff.
Again, there are a bunch of slope clips in back door. (also what's the name of that music)

When beating the back door boss, the music doesn't play in the credits.
I’m definitely fixing the red stuff and everything I think is important. The clipping stuff will probably be fixed to prevent softlocks, but if you don’t get softlocked I’ll leave it till later cause I know it all exists, and theres a custom block that can fix it, but its probably gonna be super tedious to fix all of it so I might wait on that in particular
And really thanks for all this. I do wanna make this a playable and enjoyable hack, but theres things i might leave as is. IE weird music transitions from creepy to vanilla. The idea is every fort and castle will have the vanilla bosses, except the back door, cause I wanted to put a little meme-post in that level specifically. > the music is Science Blaster - The same intro to Game theory. >

Was already rejected lol, but I'm alright with that. Was just an april fools joke. Still gonna update it soon! Not with new levels just with necessary fixes
EDIT - Fixed a majority of the gamebreaking crap, jank, as much as I could find. Theres some stuff I'm waiting on to fix, but for now I'll let it slide. Waiting cause the Robbie boss still has wrong music, and I can't fix it cause the .asm file is bugged if you edit it. I fixed most clips, and stuff that prevents you from entering other levels. AFAIK all the above save for a few things are fixed.
