There was a discussion in GrandPOOBear's chat the other day about the difficulty curve/ranking of Kaizo hacks. I personally agree, this should be addressed. As a newer Kaizo player, I find it tough to find Kaizo hacks that are within my current skill level that engage me in wanting to keep trying. I'm playing both Learn 2 Kaizo and Korosu Mario World 1, and having a blast with both! They are both challenging as well as fun enough to keep me wanting to keep trying.

My suggestion is to restructure the difficulty tags on some hacks. Perhaps add a Kaizo:Amateur, Kaizo:Beginner, or even Kaizo:New, so that we know, these are the hacks for people learning kaizo tricks. This way, the rest of the difficulty settings stay the same; Kaizo:Light is tough kaizo, Kaizo:Hard is basically TAS kaizo.

Just my 2 cents, I only discovered this world in the last 2 years and want to delve deeper, but I dont want to have to make my own levels just to practice tricks.

I am currently making a vanilla style hack with kaizo levels to make the final castle shorter, I have no idea what this would be classified as, if approved, but I believe it could fall in the Kaizo:Newbie catagory!

Thanks!

I agree with this 100%!
