Whoa, that's a lot of samples. I'll definitely be using some of these. Nice work, musicalman!
Hey guys. Since the "main" part of C3 is over, i've released the ports on the music section. Check the original post for them.

The Mario Bros Stage 1 port is nice! SMA2’s audio quality was really bad so it’s nice to hear a version that’s more crisp and clear. Something does sound a bit off about it. Not sure if it has to do with note lengths or bc some notes are missing I don’t think this one would be the case since the MIDI is rippable.

The MIDI actually is rippable, I just used GBAMusRiper on Mario Advance 1 and it worked. If it sounds slightly off, it probably is note lengths, because in MIDI you can play with the note lengths a little and still have it sound generally the same.

New port! This time, it's from Pac-Attack on the SNES.

Pac Attack - Puzzle Pit Fight: (Music Section Link)

That sounds very good! I really like this song and you sure did it justice, especially considering you didn't use an automatic tool as far as I can tell. Good job!

Thanks! Also, yes. I didn't use an automatic tool, I used the MIDI and the original SPC as references and did it by hand.
Wanted to finish at least one more port before posting is completely disabled. This time, it's a port of the Boss theme from Jazz Jackrabbit! Enjoy!

Jazz Jackrabbit - Boss: (Music Section Link)
Nominating One Must Fall 2097 - Arena 3 because Sinc-X did a phenomenal job accurately porting this to the SNES and it's just a good song in general.

Sampled or unsampled: Unsampled.

Light sample is acceptable, but please try to make it sound as authentically close to the SMW soundfont as possible. I've also listed 4 different MIDIs. Feel free to use whichever's easier to work with.

Claiming this.

I know it's like 8 seconds long and just square/triangle waves and noise but I couldn't really figure out the... arpeggio (I guess?) on the last couple notes. when I tried to port it myself.

I'll go ahead and claim this. This should be easy.
Edit: Aaaaaand it's done.
I haven't downloaded the files to see whether it's accurate yet, but this BRR submission suggests that it has some NES samples in it.
Edit: Should've told you this when I posted it, but you need this BRR Player to play the samples.

Name: EarthBound - Winters' White
Type: Port
Sampled: Light
MP3: Here
SPC: Here
MIDI: Here

The song should be entirely unsampled except for the bells.

Claiming this. By the way, when you say bells, exactly what instrument to do you mean? I'm asking so I can get it right when I port it.

I've finished the port. Hope you like it!
Huh. Didn't expect this, but i'm fine with it. I've never participated in an SMW Idol Contest anyways. Lookin' forward to that 72hoSPC this weekend!
Hey guys, it's me again.

Just like last C3, I haven't prepared any ports specifically for this C3, so I'll post the ports here as I complete them. I don't take suggestions, so don't ask. The ports along w/ the .txt files and the samples will be released after the ability to post threads is locked, just like how I did it last C3.

-------------------------------------------------------

THE PORT(S):

Sampled:
Super Smash Bros. Brawl - WarioWare Inc.
Spelunky - Temple B | Submission

Unsampled:
Spelunky Classic - Cave | Submission
Journey to Silus - Stage 4 | Submission
(^ is Made for Daizo Dee Von's 100 Rooms of Enemies: Nightmare Edition hack.)

-------------------------------------------------------

Edit 1: Added unsampled port of Spelunky Classic - Cave.
Edit 2: Added sampled port of Spelunky - Temple B.
Edit 3: Added unsampled port of Journey to Silius - Stage 4.
Edit 4: Added submission links to all of the ports except the WarioWare Inc. Port.

That's all for now! Feedback is welcome.
Just added a new unsampled port of Spelunky Classic - Cave that I was working on before C3 and managed to get done today. Check the OP.
Thanks for the compliments, 1UPdudes & Merident. I'll try and upload a new port today.
