UPDATE - BETA 1.1 - FIXED PATCH

Hey guys, I just released a very short demo of my new hack, Super Mario Ultima/Ultima World. It only has two levels, but I thought I'd release it anyway to get some comments and suggestions on how to improve my hacking. It doesn't have any ExGFX or custom blocks or anything, or any custom music. (Yet...)

This is actually my second hack - my first was a brutally hard Kaizo-style one, but I decided to abandon and instead make a FUN hack. XD But this is my first time screwing around with palettes and stuff, so I hope I don't mess anything up later.

Edit: HAHA whoops, looks like I did mess something up - the patch. XD I guess I'll need to figure out what went wrong and fix this...

What the hell are you talking about? I come here looking for some criticism on my level design and instead I get insulted by a mod for no good reason? Cool SMWC; I sure am glad I decided to try posting here.

Temple of Time. I'm pretty sure the list of submitted levels in the submissions thread had the names of the level creators listed next to them as well.

Honestly, it's 10 days past the deadline and he's still only 2/3 of the way done at the most? At this rate, I guess we'll have the results by the end of the month... Patience is good and all but when you promise a deadline and then have nothing to show for it for weeks afterwards, people will get understandably annoyed. Sure, there were a bunch of entries, but SNN managed to finish them all without going that far past the deadline. And he did it under the effects of dental surgery.

So yeah I just realized that when I added a room at the start of my level I forgot to change the midpoint entrance settings. So, if you try to reenter the level with the midpoint obtained you spawn in a black void and die instantly.

I can't say I agree with some of these results but oh well

It has no power ups and no midpoint. Now, this wouldn't be TOO bad if it wasn't for the fact that there are many, many ridiculously precise pixel-perfect jumps. It almost sounds as if we're talking about two completely different levels?

I fixed my midpoint now so if anyone still wants to play my level download this instead
