I'm finding test players of my hack.
This hack uses English, but I am not sure about my English Skills.
I'm honest with this hack might be never completed.
(It takes quite a lot of time to make a level and I
usually have a full-time job work too.)

Nevertheless,I'm glad to find Japanese hacks discussion thread.
I'm so proud of Japanese SMW Hackers.
I want to do my best to make my hack.
Look forward to it.

I know that this is a late response, but I'd be willing to playtest it~
Late post, but I'd be interested in testing it if you're still looking for testers~
As someone who just completed Memorial Service Tempest after showing it to lion a few days ago, I'd recommend leaving comments with complaints/praise on the smwx uploader page.
Memorial Service Tempest has been updated.
MST fixed a crash in "あくうかん", fixed a bug in "やすらぎのとき", as well as adding retry systems to some levels. It's not perfect yet (あくうかん is still an RNG roadblock to anyone hoping to complete the hack without save states), and the levels that have retry systems don't give you infinite retries (you still lose a life when you die). Hopefully he'll update it again soon to make some additional changes.
Again, I'd highly recommend leaving any feedback on the smwx page for the hack. MST seems to be responsive to comments.
I tried playing it before and I dropped it before completing the first level because it was hot garbage.

can you not insult people's work like that

Would you prefer I write an essay describing why the hack isn't good?

Anyways, I was originally going to post here looking for an old version of a hack from 2015, so... would anyone happen to have a copy of one of the old versions of Bald Mario? It's a hack from 2015, and I'm looking for an early version of the hack because I found a Japanese LP of it on youtube, and the final video of the LP shows a level that is not present in the version of the hack on smwx or either of the two copies of the hack on smwdb. The creator of the hack, Anisaki, seems to have deleted their social media accounts, so I can't contact them directly to ask about this.
For context, both versions of the hack on smwdb (November 4, 2015 and November 8, 2015) have 13 stages, while the version shown in the LP has twelve stages, with a final stage that's completely different from the one in the most recent version of the hack.

I think it's a lot more constructive to describe why you don't like a hack, than just to post "lol this hack is hot trash" without any context behind it.

The point of constructive criticism is that the person it's directed towards is actually supposed to see it. There is no point in going into detail on why I don't think this hack is good except for pleasing two people in this thread.
Alright then, here are the reasons why I don't think Kyoudai Mario is good.

Stage 1 (not including the Yoshi House): Starts off with a random gimmick that lasts for two seconds and adds nothing to the level. The level then turns into "do one tile vine jumps while carrying a shell". Getting a star kills the music. You have to do jumps that are nearly frame-perfect (killing shell-less koopas in a one-tile high corridor). Then you have to do a frame-perfect trick to reach the goal (picking up a key on the same frame that you jump off of it). You also have to do an extra overly-precise jump if you want to get the secret exit. Even with save states, this level isn't any fun.

Stage 2: The On/Off block gimmick is poorly used (you have to deal with blue koopas kicking shells and hitting the switch). In addition, the music's broken. Because of this, if you die, the game crashes. I also suspect that the game would crash even if you beat the stage, so the game is literally unplayable at this point. The reason I say "suspect" is because there's a jump right after the midpoint that I can't figure out how to do, even after looking at a map of the level, so I can't even reach the end anyways.

Getting the secret exit of stage 1 just gets you the yellow switch palace. You still have to do stage 2.
The music issue would be acceptable if it wasn't for the fact that this hack was (re?)released in 2020.

I think this is an adequate explanation for why I don't like the hack.

So, in other words...

The hack has setups that don't always work, requires frame perfect precision, is overall repetitive, and is a buggy mess.

I think I summed it up quite nicely.

That sounds about right.
Anyways, I'm going to repost my question from earlier.

its probably a special version.
i dont think the japanese youtuber will be able to reply very well if you post in english.

I can't speak Japanese, and I don't want to be a cringey idiot posting in broken google translated Japanese.
That level is from Memorial Service Tempest.

According to the readme, this is SIG's last hack.
This looks super neat!
SimFan96 and I are currently working on fixing Mario Gives Up 2.
I saw a let's play of Mario Gives Up on youtube back in 2010 and thought that SMW ROM hacks looked like fun.
