I’m currently redoing some old levels (like W-1-1, W-1-3, and maybe W-1-Tower), improving the aesthetics of some other levels, and making 2 new levels for World 1. So, World 1 will now have 6 levels instead of just 4.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Here are some screenshots of World 1-Castle and levels that have been improved for now:

You mean like this?

So I was trying to insert the NSMBWII secret passages included with these patches, but the .txt says to put the ''level.asm'' and ''Secretpassages.asm'' files in Uberasm's hijacks folder. Except there’s not even a hijacks folder! So I assumed that I had to put the files in ''work'' and ''base'' folders in the ''asm'' folder (since they also have a ''level.asm'' file) but even after that I had this error:
Code
(E5088): Define 'Base2' wasn't found.

What could be the problem?

Here is what the .txt says:
...
2.- Replace level.asm in the hijacks folder with the one included. Add SecretPassages.asm to the same folder.
3.- Go to level_code.asm and add this piece of code to the level where you want this effect:
LDA #$XX
STA $0F3A+!Base2
RTS
Where XX is the circle radius, with a maximum of 40. Anything bigger will crash.
4.- Insert uberASM as usual. The included code will, by default, make a circle of a radius of 20 in level 105 whenever you step on layer 2.

It worked, but now I have this error:
Code
Missing load/init/main/nmi label.
And even if I try to add them in ''level_code.asm'' Uberasm just crashes.

You mean here?
Code
level105:
	LDA #$20
	main:
	STA $0F3A+!addr
	RTS

It's not working.

It's still saying that the label can't be find:
Code
...
Unhandled Exception: System.Exception: can't find label
...

EDIT: Ok it works, but only when I remove the ''level.asm'' file in the ''asm'' folder. So the problem is this file and not ''level_code.asm''.

33th place

So apparently a pipe in my level was broken and ALL of the judges got the problem while playing.
Yet I never had this problem even after testing the level at least 15 times.

When trying to insert the sprites contained with theses blocks I get these errors;

Code
blockspr.asm:373: error: (E5117): Unknown command. [JMP $FEA301]
blockspr.asm:540: error: (E5117): Unknown command. [JMP.l $00C0FB]

By removing the lines, the sprites insert, but the game crashes when trying to generate the blocks (I guess):

Can someone explain me how to fix this problem?

Change the JMP.l to JML and I think you can just remove the JMP $FEA301, that doesn't seem like something that should be executed.

Thanks it worked!

When the level is loaded with this sprite and a key the game just hurts mario for no reason. Do anyone know how to fix that?

Is there any simple way to change the sounds/poses for each jump?

Patch in question: link

I managed to get the sounds working
just by copying code from another patch
, but i don't know asm so i still don't really understand how to change the poses.

Can you show an example of what to do?

How can i change a sprite to be 32x32 instead of 16x16?
(just the tiles used, not the collisions)

I would like to edit this sprite for example:Link

Find a sprite on this site with the dimensions you are looking for. Then go into that routine and take the line of code that handles how it draws the graphics and then use that to replace the routine in your sprite.

That’s always what i do. I tried to modify several patches and sprites recently by copying lines from other patches/sprites, but it never really worked the way i wanted to and it takes me way too long just to change something simple. I think i’m just gonna try to learn asm.
