I used Effect tool to generate this code that makes the layer 2 uses parallax scroll:


But i also want it to auto-scroll. I tried to add INC $1466 but it doesn't seem to change anything.
I also tried to combine this code with it but now the parallax effect doesn't work

So, how can i make it auto-scroll?

It doesn't seem to always work.
I tried your code on 3 different roms and it only worked on one of them. (it didn’t even worked on a clean rom).

I'm really not sure what's the problem here.

Are you inserting it as LevelASM or are you creating a generator. (I'd recommend LevelASM)

Do you have nay HDMA related patches on the unclean ROM that it didn't work on.


Actually it was just because i installed Sa-1 on the unclean rom. I will try to convert the code later.

I have trouble trying to change this sprite's color palette to 09. It stays at palette 08 every time I try.

Example line:

I'm trying to change the blank tile (1CFC) that is displayed when a dragon coin isn't collected on the status bar, to another tile (1C8E in this case)

Using my level 0 asm skills I got this:

This is the result when no coins are collected:



1- These tiles are really not tile 1C8E
2- When a dragon coin is collected the tiles doesn't change to a #lm{aniset} anymore
