...Okay, call me a n00b all you want, but can someone PLEASE tell me how spritetool works? All I get is this weird black box asking questions to me, like, what is the file directory of your ROM and stuff. Is it supposed to be like that? I see programs like this all the time and I just assume I don't have the right kind of computer for them. But if it's supposed to be like that, HELP!

I'm pretty good on all of the basic's of SMW hacking (overworld, levels, custom blocks, ect), but whenever I try to use a tool for adding music, it doesn't work for my computer. I've tried all of the tools that are supposed to be n00b-proof, but still I get no results. Is there anyone who can help me?

Hey, I applied the RPG Overworld patch to my hack and I can't figure out how to get it to work. The sound that plays when you run over a level tile is gone, (which it should be) but my character still follows pre-set paths.

Could somebody please tell me how the Screen Scrolling pipes work? I know there was a forum that explained how to use them, but I can't find it! If someone could explain how to use them, or PM me the link to the forum (or anything else that could help) that would be great...
So you're having trouble with AddMusic? Don't worry. I feel your pain. I just learned how to use it a couple days ago! I don't know if this is your problem, but this tutorial really helped me out.

Actually, I used Ty's patch. I'm really sorry that what I asked was very general. I actually meant how to really use them. I have them on Map16 page 4, no custom blocks have been added, and I noticed in the test level, blank tiles were used right in front of pipes. Were those custom blocks? If your answer isn't in the reply you already submitted, I'm sorry for making you go through the whole song and dance.
Not to burst your bubbles, but the Brawl was the last game. The team has disbanded, and will most likely will not be working on a new SSB game

Actually, he kind of is. SEGA sold rights to Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony to use Sonic in any kind of games. Snake I guess was just a surprise the creators added for anyone who still plays Metal Gear.

Is there any way to make a level's background scroll fast without the use of the fast bg scroll sprite and the flying grey turn blocks?
