Hi, this hack is a thing I'm making because I like making things. I'm making it alone and it's a mostly level design oriented hack with each level having a different gimmick (Yes I realize it's cliche to say but I feel it's true enough to warrant saying)
As for plans, I don't really have any, so far I'm just winging it and making levels that I think are fun to play and sticking to a semi-coherent theme, but I'm not worrying about making a set amount of levels or a set amount of worlds or anything, the hack is first and foremost about gameplay. It's relatively difficult and it starts off kinda hard right away.
If you couldn't tell by the screenshot of the title screen up there, the hack doesn't really take itself all that seriously because that's lame and boring.
But who cares about all this TEXT when you can have some SCREENSHOTS AND VIDEOS

I'll be updating this post pretty regularly hopefully so if you're interested in this thing then never close your eyes and keep refreshing the topic, or just check it occasionally every couple of days or something, either way I don't know which option you choose so it doesn't really matter.

So since it has been a week anyway I thought "I might as well post another one because I DID say I was gonna update the thread regularly"
So uh, here's the previous video and the new one from today, they feature a level that's pretty lategame and a level from world 2.

I on the other hand, somehow finished the entire design portion of my level and am now moving onto adding proper aesthetics

The Sections where it seems you can't do them as big mario I've both done as big mario without getting hit, and the end blocks look like that because I don't actually have the vanilla graphics loaded in that level because the way the graphics are arranged is hyper jank.
I also wanted to expand on the torpedo teds a bit but didn't want to make the level too long so I'm kinda stuck in a dilemma right now on what I actually want to do with them.

I sent my level for the sake of having more people beta test it.
It seems I shall be changing the torpedo ted section after all, I'll probably post another video of it afterwards because at this point pretty much everything else is done.
alright so I think I've addressed some concerns about the level now and here's an updated video

The Torpedo Ted section has been removed entirely, the level now has coins to help guide the player as to where they should be jumping, and the aesthetics have been marginally improved.

I wish I could just put a ceiling but the platforms end up spazzing out on the ceiling blocks if I do so I had to do that if I wanted the level to function properly at all

See the fact it's a ghost house and a water level cancels out because the water turns into ghost water which you don't interact with.
9th place is pretty good considering I rushed out my map in 3 days
Also I'm glad pretty much everyone picked up on the fact that every level has unique decorations next to it, as that was my primary goal with the map and sorta the reason as to why there weren't that many levels.
