You need to first open pixi and then drag the rom onto the cmd window, also you need to create list.txt yourself and write the stuff in it. list.txt must be in the same folder as the rom

Do not waste moderator's time by submitting low effort hacks that have no point and no reason to exist in the first place.
Doing this more than once will lead to a section ban.

in all seriousness, though, this is a phenomenal port, and you made it sound really nice given the severe downgrade in sound hardware, so kudos!

how dare you hate hoenn samples!!!!!!!!!!
btw very nice port gooseman
The celeste port is OH MY GOD
I'm a sucker for celeste music of all kinds and this port is just so good. Makes me want to make a level just to use this single port. I'm actually probably gonna do that.
Pixi's CFG editor is read-only for vanilla sprites, it doesn't have any functionality in actually editing them.
For that purpose you must use Tweaker (or just manual hex edits), which Koopster linked above.
You're gonna have to provide more information about what you're doing, what does your list.txt file look like, what's in your sprites folder, how are you placing and setting up the custom sprites in the level
Having trouble with Pixi? Look no further

This is a thread that you can use to submit and hopefully fix any problems you might encounter while using Pixi.

What is an issue?
Issues comprehend situations such as:
  • You have downloaded a sprite and it won't insert, for one reason or the other.
  • You don't understand how to use the tool itself.
  • Pixi gave you an error while using it
  • Pixi somehow crashed
  • You're writing a sprite and you want to implement something in it but you're not sure how Pixi handles that case.

What isn't an issue?
Some things aren't issues and as such, aren't suited for this thread.
  • You have a feature request that's not included in Pixi already
  • You wrote a sprite and something is wrong in your code making it not insert, that's not Pixi's problem, that's your problem.
  • You find a bug in the tool and you want to report it to the maintainer of Pixi to fix it.

For things such as feature requests, you can add an issue on the GitHub issue page and tag it as "Feature request".
For things such as tool specific bugs, do the same thing but tag it as a bug.
I will check often the GitHub issue page for new reports.
Additionally, if you're a coder and you want to contribute with additions to the tool, feel free to open a Pull Request on Pixi's GitHub page.

Alright, now that we've identified what is an issue and what isn't, if the reason you're in this thread identifies in those, continue reading.
To properly idenfity what you're doing wrong and what isn't letting you insert a sprite in your game, you'll need to fill in some fields.
If you don't properly fill the required fields, your help post will be ignored.

Quote the following part of the thread and fill it in (basically you need to replace the parts delimited by <> with whatever information they say to write):

Make sure to fill the [ ] below with an X after making sure you did what they say.

[ ] I have provided enough information and/or my list.txt to help figure out what's the issue
[ ] I have read the README.txt that's included in Pixi and I still can't figure out what's wrong.
[ ] I have used other sprite tools on my ROM (such as Romi's sprite tool)
[ ] I have searched in the Forums and/or this thread for issues that are possibly duplicates of mine to see if there's already an answer

Description: A traditional, mostly vanilla hack whose aim is to provide an experience similar to that of the original SMW, but with a few twists. Difficulty ranges from normal to hard.

Hope you enjoy it!
Screenshots:
This hacks gets rejected for 2 main reasons.
All was going very well, levels were enjoyable, I was having fun, creative stuff.
That ended in world 7/8 where in the overworld 2 errors occurred:
First one.
When pressing down in the circled pipe, mario will walk out of the overworld to the right and then come back in, however, he'll be stuck on a non-enterable tile and the player will have to reset the game to get back, possibly losing exits.
Second one.
After beating world 7 and going throught the warp pipe, for some reason the path above Ninji Nuissance will already be visible, upon beating said level however, the path will not activate and mario will be unable to proceed to the next level(s), making the game impossible to beat.
