Tip: Layer 3 backgrounds and tides disappear when you hit a message box, so plan your level around that. For example, you can add a sublevel without layer 3 at the start/midpoint, and include your message there.Not logged in.

None, because this is a drawing contest. You have to make your own graphics and from scratch. Read the rules, please!

You can always use SNESGFX, found here. While it accepts generally any image size, it is recommended you use up to 512x512. The real limit, however, are the colors: up to 256 in Mode 7, for example, and try to limit to 16-48 colors in other cases.


Also what bits should I use in 4bpp on Paint or paint.net

Dude, 4bpp means 4 bits per plane. In short, whenever you use an image, it is better that you use only 16 colors, in order to take an entire palette row for SMW. If you use more, you'll need more palette rows; but SNESGFX pretty much handles it nicely to you.



It tells me a error that I have There are more than 1024 (0x400) tiles, thus it's impossible to generate a SNES tilemap.
