I'd like to request a block, that when you hit it from below, it changes the file the game reads mario's GFX from (and change the pallete if possible).
So when I would hit the block, it would read mario's gfx from for example Exgfx 80 instead of Gfx 32 or whatever mario's gfx/exgfx file is at that moment.
I know roy made a patch to change mario's gfx on level base, but I'd like to have it that you can choose your character by hitting a block.
So I could basicly have a level with a sort of "character select" blocks and when I hit one of the blocks and then go to another level it still uses ExGFX<insert number here> for mario that the block gave me.
The game doesn't need to remember it on reset tough.
It would be nice if it was easy editable as in: easily changing what Exgfx the block changes it into.
And if it had a walk/go through variant aswell (going through the block to change the character).
