Blue hair, Black hair or white hair.
And be able to switch between red eyes and white eyes and maybe some other colours aswell.
With a kind of glow in the dark effect so you can see my eyes even if you can't see me.
If possible, I'd also get rid of my curls. :3

Well, I took time to play this and I have to say I like it alot.
Your level design is great, you make excelent use of map 16.
Your palettes fit your levels and the music does too.
Loved the hints aswell. Never knew that about combining 2 colours with alt.
I really enjoyed playing it.

Only 2 things I want to suggest:

Maybe it's just my stupidity, but I got fooled by this. I actually tought it was solid and got me killed:

Its not a big deal tough.

And, never put 2 yoshi blocks at 1 screen like you did at the "end of demo level" in the first version.
If you do that and the player hits them both at nearly the same time 1 of the 2 yoshi's will glitch out (you can actually do a sort of teleporting glitch that could break a level if you know how).

Keep on going like this!

I remember finding around 3 euro's in the exit pool of the water slide in such tropical swimming thing when I was a kid.
And sometimes I'd find 1 or 2 euro randomly in a swimming pool.

1. Linear. I like to know where to go, I'm not such an explorer, altough like in the original SMW I don't mind if there's a non-linear level thrown in sometimes.

2. Chocolate. It has more possibility's and I seem to be alot better at making such levels then vanilla.

3. Chocolate, altough I like good made vanilla hacks aswell.

4. I don't really have a favorite level, but I liked the special stages alot.

5. I haven't played alot hacks yet so I really don't have an answer on this question.

I wanted to make an exanimated palette that makes the palette "invisible" for a couple of frames (For example to make a ledge invisible for a couple of frames).
Is this possible in LM?

Thanks, that really will be usefull.
I always had troubles making brighter palettes without actually making them in the palette editor.

I asked around in IRC, but it probaly is imposible to do what I want in LM (might be do-able with asm, but my level is for the vanilla contest).
What I now did is making the BG black, then the platform black in the exanimation for a couple of frames. Seems to work fine, altough I can't have a BG.

The globin is awesome.
Aswell is the OW and the heart bars.
Level design is ok but I would suggest you might want to add some bushes or other decoration in the first level.
And I see you replaced the mario ow sprite with an arrow now. :o

A part of my entry glitched out a little because I had to change the level mode (I had BG garbage). Somehow it screwed over the climbing koopa's. Also, 1 change to the puzzle made it too easy.

I have to say I've seen some very interesting entrys here and there.
1 hack even looked like it was chocolate (was probally lynnes level, I forgot).

I think if you ended the generator a bit earlier you probaly wouldn't have the disapearing scale platforms.

Main reason I joined this contest was for fun and to test my vanilla skills, so I would love to have some feedback on it.
I really want to improve my vanilla leveldesign skills & my palette skills.

Rescue rover 2.

I'm not really that much a fan of puzzle games, but I really enjoyed that game as a kid (and still do).

Next time I probably will use more palettes.
I finished the level just a couple hours before the deadline,
so I didn't really have much time for more palettes + small improvements.
