As the title says when my castle is destroyed, only half of it disappears. The top half is destroyed as normal, but the Bottom stays where it is. Also the Tile for the Castle when it is destroyed appears, but in the middle of the ocean. Can someone please tell me how to fix this.
Make sure you check the event that the castle destruction is on. It could be on some event that you haven't deleted yet. Remember, to select the event that the castle destroys on by selecting the TOP of the castle, and clicking the destroyed castle icon.
Okay, I tried this, but when I first started to build the overworld I deleted all the events. I know about the Top of the Castle and every thing like that. I looked and saw the event the Castle activated didn't match, so I changed the Event it destroyed on. They now match, but nothing happens.
My favorite Non-Physical is Mind Minipulation. It is possible, but I'm no good.
The Katana for short range combat.
Not sure about long range. I guess mabye, a pistol. It's small and even though it's not to strong, a shot to the heart is near always fatal.
I have a question about the characters. How is the selection work? Are you going to have a screen where you can change your player, or are you going to have some items that automatically change your character? I really like the idea, and I'm looking forward to playing it.
I'm glad your enjoying it here. I saw the video, and I suggest that you work on the levels, and then the overworld. I did my overworld first, but it took forever. It is a good idea to do the levels for that world first. Also I saw no problem with the munchers, although I see why some people do. The double munchers topic is all about your view on it.
The player has to really work for that moon. They have to go all the way to the end of the level, grab the beetle, run back without losing the beetle, grab the moon, then go all the way back to the end. There is plenty of time to do this as well. It is a little tedious, so I don't see people doing it a lot. They are also unable to get it after the Yellow Switch Palace. I'll add some more enemies to the levels, and work more on the overworld.
I work with the palletes. I have been kind of reluctent since I haven't worked with them much. Also the moon, I know you are lazy, which is why I designed it that way. Mad, yes, crazy, yes, brillent, possibly.
I love those graphics. I'm guessing those are the redrawn graphics. About the border, I think I know why it looks odd to me. The bottom looks to be made shorter, thus making the top look longer. Now for the pictures. For the shop blocks, why is one side gray and the other blue? There is a small amount of cut-off where the pipe meets the grey used blocks in the third picture. Nothing to worry about really. Picture four looks okay, but I hope you give enough room to get running speed. The doors create visible cut-off where the meet the round blocks in picture five. The koopa jumping looks like it may be a little hard, but it's hard to tell from the picture. Everything else looks good. Keep up the good work.
