I'm not 100% sure but it sounds like you used a space in map16 that you maybe shouldn't have and since the glitch occurs after hitting the switch I would look near the blocks effected by the switch. Hope that's helpful but, I'm new too.
I'm having trouble with a couple of sprites continuously loading missing squares out of them, a saw sprite and a ball and chain sprite in my final castle level. I can't figure out what's causing it. I can send a screen shot to whomever may be able to help.
