Hey so I'm making my first hack and I have soms problems with level intros. So some of my castle levels dont have the cutscene of mario entering or destroying it and I can't seem to figure out why. I also have a sunken ghost ship level that has the scene of mario entering the mansion but obviously I dont want that scene if its a sunken ship level. How do I fix these problems?
Thank you so much, I will try that out. But I need to know one more thing, how do you make castles and palaces get destroyed once beaten? I found the option but couldn't figure out how to use it. Thanks
Hey, I was wondering a couple things. I'm building a level and I need to know if you can control the path snake blocks follow and how to use them. I can't figure out exactly how they work. I also stumbled soon this problem where I cant scroll horizontally, I changed the level settings and everything but it won't let me use more than one screen.

I have came across a problem when editing levels, sometimes in my levels the background is super dark and i cant make it brighter. when i make the background white it instead looks gray. its really annoying how do i fix this and what causes it?
Ok so this is important, i have messed up all the graphics in my editor, not sure how. When i open my editor and look through tiles and sprites all i see is garbled graphics. All of my levels are fine when in,the editor and playing them but now i cant place anything but garbled mess. Any ideas? Thx
Okay i will bemore descriptive, it happens on all levels and whatever i did affected all of my roms. I downloaded lunar magic again and downloaded a new rom and it still does it

No its not the settings. i have switched level types and all of that, it doesnt do anything. All of the names of objects dont even match a specific tileset, the names are mixtures of different level types. Like it has ghost objects, castle objects and grassland objects. This affected all of my roms btw. If i had the wrong level type than my already made level would have garbled graphics, but it doesnt it looks fine
it worked! thx! not sure how it gopt that way though, i never turned that off.
How do i add more colors of land on my main overworld? Like i want to make a white snowy mountain, a grassland and a brown mountain but there are only 2 ground tiles to edit the colors for. Thanks for all the help guys.

okay, so i have a cool idea for a verticle level but every single time i attempt to make one something doesnt work. every time i try my verticle level i die instantly before i even see mario on screen or he will fall through every block and die at the bottom of the level. i have verticle entrance set and im using level type 8. i tried 7 but same results. does anyone have a fix for this?
hey, i was editing the bowser fight and i cant figure out how to make the reappearing ghost generator work without glitched graphics. is it possible to do?
Ok, so i want to try making a metroidvania hack and i need the powerups to be permanent. like i need to keep a mushroom or cape when i die and never lose them. any way for me to do that?
ok this may be a dumb question, but how do i make layer 3 clouds? in a bunch of vldc levels they have a transparent version of the cloud BG scrolling in front of the foreground and i have no clue how to create that in the layer 3 editor
