Guess I'm posting to the Forums now.#smw{;)}

After some sudden spurts of creativity, I tried my hand at a multitude of different GFX things. Not much is really finished, but enough to show it bit of.

The gfx of these blocks kinda remind me of M&L Superstar Saga blocks. Was that your inspiration in drawing them?

Yeah pretty much, I was looking for some unique design of the Question-Blocks and Superstar Saga's stood out to me.

Never saw this one coming.
Jokes aside, this looks really useful and could lead to some evil contraptions, even in non-athletic levels.

While the triangle blocks certainly are the main attraction, just gotta say, that beet cool, yo.

But the triangle blocks are very triangulatastic as well.

A very nice selection of music, that all sounds great ported over.

All of these sound very good, expecting some more good things to see later down the line. #smw{:TUP:}

Kirby's Dreamland 2 - Cloudy Park

Youtube Upload

I would love if you could implement some SNES Kirby Samples for this like from Kirby Superstar or Kirby's Dreamland 3, though if that's too much OG SMW Samples are fine.

You can also make it fancy if you want.

The song is actually 1:04 min long so hopefully you wont bite my fingers. #smw{^_^;}

Man this just keeps getting better and better everytime I look at the thread, there's a whole host of useful and cool stuff here. 8>

Hey y'all, this is my first C3, of hopefully many more to come.
At first I just wanted to see what's all about and didn't have anything prepared for it myself.
But, after looking around, I got the urge to submit something, so I made some last minute Graphics contribution.

Here's some sugary Tileset and Background:

Hope you all have some more fun at C3!

Entry time.

Edit: Provided the .txt that was missing before. #smrpg{gasp}

1 Hour and 45 Minutes to go, good luck to all the Crunch Masters! #smrpg{y}

File Name: animated flames
Submitted: by swunsh_
Authors: swunsh_
Type: Original
Purpose: Foreground
Description: This is a 16 x 32 pixel animated flame. it can act as 12F (muncher) or as 25 (air) just for aesthetics.

While looking nice, this is currently not fit for approval, mainly due to one key factor:
The original Author of these graphics was not credited.

As seen here these GFX have been ripped from brullov's fire sprite tutorial as as such should be also credited to them in the author field.

One other reason for rejection, is that you failed to provide a map16 Screenshot, as required by the Submission Guidlines for Foreground GFX.
File Name: Remastered SMW Mario
Submitted: by DTA450
Authors: DTA450
Type: Original
Purpose: Player
Description: A recoloring and reshading of the original Mario from SMW; a black border has been used around Mario's head and body, so the darker red and blue colors is now used for the cap and the suit instead of be themselves a border.

These graphics use original palette 8, I have also added a shared palette with some better colors.
It includes GFX32 (with every poses) and GFX00.

Credits would be great but you don't have to.
While the concept of these sprites is something that I think a lot of people have use for, in the current state I can't accept these.

The touched up shading doesn't work to well on most surfaces, excluding the overalls and the arms, as it introduces pixels that just don't fit in with the rest of the area, as can be seen by the brown pixels in Marios face region and the dark red Pixels in the outline of the overalls. The Yellow in the eyes makes the Super Mushroom Mario look almost ill at some points. Super Mushroom Mario's Cap also seems to have a problem with shading as you couldn't pinpoint where light would come from to make it look like that. Small Mario's Cap doesn't seem to have this problem. The palette you provided, while looking fine, only extends these problems, as the weirdness is now even more noticable due to the color changes. Generally most other things are fine, cape and cutscene sprites seem in order, but these listed points of interest make this a no-go submission currently.

I'm hopeful that you can fix these issues and resubmit.
Poor Cooltunnel #smrpg{sad}
At least their level was nice.
