Hello!

I have installed the following patches in my rom:

Retry System (+ multiple checkpoints) v2.06a
SA-1 Pack v1.32 (Reduces Slowdown)

These works great on their own. The problem I am running into occurs when I try to use the custom midway object included in the retry system patch. It shows up initially, then immediately disappears. If I place Mario's entrance position on top of the midway object it triggers and works as expected. If not, it quickly disappears and shows up and it does in the editor and it cannot be interacted with.

My setup includes:
Installed SRAM and BW-RAM Plus v1.3 with the bwram_tables.asm included in Retry System (+ multiple checkpoints) v2.06a .
Inserted the custom midway object with the following configuration:
Command: 2D - The custom midway object.
Extension: 4108 - I would like the midway to re-spawn Mario at the entrance of 108.

Can anyone point me in the right direction here? Do I need to do more with bwram_tables.asm than simply copying it over when installing SRAM and BW-RAM Plus v1.3? Thanks!

It turns out my emulator was causing the issue. I switched to snes9x and the problem went away.
MidKaizo

A lighter, shorter kaizo rom hack featuring 12(ish) exits.

MidKaizo is a mostly vanilla rom hack with a few custom blocks and sprites, all matching the original SMW aesthetic. This hack takes a smaller set of techniques and incorporates them in different ways. No 200 IQ setups here. Some levels are longer, some are shorter.

Looking for feedback regarding:
Level length
Level difficulty
Aesthetics
Blind spots

As the creator, the difficulty and potential blind spots of levels are particularly hard to gauge so feedback here is most appreciated.

Thanks!

P.S. - Some recommendations for overworld music would be appreciated as well!
I recreated the bps and updated the link. I must have used a modified rom on accident. Thanks!
@MassPunishment - Wow. Thank you so much. This feedback is incredible. I will be making a ton of changes as per your recommendations. I will also keep you posted as I make them and update the bps :D
