I disagree with Rule 3. Instead I would say that you just have to write down the side effects. Because for ASM hackers it is essential to know which addresses deal with what.

Well title says it all.

Im currently disassembling parts of mario's drawing routine and I thought I would share my findings with the community, but seeing the all.log in the git repository... it looks kinda empty.
Is there some more documentation on the commands of asar? The changes.txt explains the commands only briefly.

What does pushpc/pullpc do? When do I need it?

How can I tell asar to look for freespace at the start of a whole empty bank?

"ram tells that the RAM mirrors must exist (which means the data must be in banks 10-3F)" What are RAM mirrors? When do I need them?

Does autoclean clean nested subroutines too? E.g

Code
autoclean JSL Test
freecode
Test: JSR Test2
      RTL

Test2: JSR Test3
       RTS

Test3: RTS

It saves the current position Asar is writing to, allowing you to write something somewhere else and then return to the original spot. See Hijack Everywhere for details on when this can be used.

Hey that's awesome :) Just what I needed. Now I can restructure my code.

...it's added in Asar 1.31...

Thanks, thats very useful.

RAM mirrors allow you to read from four-digit RAM addresses (for example $010B and $13BF) while the current data bank register is set to the current bank (needed for .w addressing within this bank).

Ok thanks. So when using noram I can still load RAM addresses when I adress them like LDA $7E010B?
+1 for notepad++
Fuck, I was working on a similiar tool, but Ive got busy with college. I wanted to start working on it again in 3-4 weeks but now it has become obsolete.

Anyway nice tool, im going to play around with it a bit.
Finally open sourced! Thanks a bunch! Gonna hack a little bit with it as soon as I find some time and interest.
