Hi!

I've searched through the forums and FAQ's and couldnt find an answer to my problem, so I'm hoping one of you might help me.

I'm making a level that's using the layer 2 smash-1 sprite command on screens 09-0F.
The problem is Mario can't stand on the layer 2 platforms when they are moving up, instead, he falls through.

Is there a way to customize layer 2 smash with hex editing or custom ASM (or something else) so that Mario doesnt fall through? for example by slightly lowering the speed by which the platforms move upwards. I am aware that you can change the speed by using different screens, but I would really prefer the fast moving ones on screen 09-0F.

Description: I thought it would be cool with a Celeste style dash that you can insert into a single level. I was wondering if it's possible to convert CoMPMStR Mad Dash patch into a level specific patch that uses UberASM?
I am aware that Wario Dash by Erik and K3fka exist, but it doesnt let you dash in any direction.

Whenever I jump, the sound effect from the jump interrupts one of the instruments from this custom music track. Is there a way to fix this? Id really like to use that song.
I tried changing "!JumpSFXOn1DFC" to false, but that didnt help. Also I'm not that good with codes and such.

Hi!

Is there a way to enable a high spin jump off of bullet bills and to hurt the player if they try a normal jump? I tried the CFG editor, but couldnt find a way to do it there and changing the ASM code is outside of my knowledge.
I'm using this disassembly of bullet bill.

Hi Guys!

I'm using the Mad Dash patch with the option to only enable dash with fire flower power up, but it didnt work at first (meaning nothing happens when I push the 'dash' button). After some troubleshooting I found that the Timer Disabler patch and Nuke statusbar patch are the culprits. Since I suck at ASM, is there anyone that knows what the problem is? Can I change something in the Mad Dash ASM file to make the two patches work together?

I'm trying to use Disappearing Blocks with the Wall Kick patch (alternatively Wall Climb patch), but I dont understand how to make them compatible. Theres a section at the beginning of Disappearing Blocks where you can change Wall Kick flag, but I dont get what to do.
