i had decided to make a rom hack about Ralph from oracle of ages, so i thought it would be best if the hack were Zelda themed.here are some screen shots.

the over world

Nayru in Ralph's house.

owl statue message block

you can pick up and toss the jars.

the fire flower is a lantern

chucks are now bull knights.

the mid points are fairies. they also fully heal you.

a cave

bats snakes and fireballs.

and sparky sun guy

tiny cyclops thwomp dudes.

pipes are now those log things.

triforce goal sphere

ghosts.

big cyclops thwomp thing.

i want to use blocks 12a and 12b in lunar magic. however they use the p switch as a bounce block... is there a way to make them use the bounce block used by the turn block?

a Marissa boss,preferably able to use master spark, with her main attack being star shaped projectiles. also if you could have it so to pass the battle you just need to survive her assault would be good too.

hey there everyone. I have completed the first world of the variety of chance. so I have decided to release a playable demo here at c3. I've tried my best to make this hack as interesting and unique as possible by hand drawing a lot of the default graphics and porting other graphics straight from their respective games.though do be warned that due to my recent obsession with Touhou I have referenced it more then once. the story is about two psychics (Marin and Luna) and a youkai who can manipulate reality (Eclair).at certain points in the game there are cut-scenes where the characters exchange goofy dialogue.

which ones need shading? I'm kinda happy about how the gfx turned out so i guess i can't see what you mean. it would be nice to have a uniform style though.

how would i go about making it so Mario is always fire status. i want my character to have an attack to go along with health, so as to better fight bosses.
how do i do that? i don't know how to make a generator.

I have decided to make a Touhou themed hack. The main character is Reimu and all the enemy graphics have been replaced with Touhou characters. you start out with the stars as your life meter like in more recent Touhou games. you can of course extend by getting a 1-up item. the coins have been made into point items, the Yoshi coins being the bigger yellow bordered ones in mountain of faith. i have yet to make an over world though as I intend to make the levels first. there will also be many boss encounters, though i will not reveal them at this time. also like in most Touhou games Reimu has a shot type that she can use throughout the game.(fireballs made to look like yin yang orbs). Also you are unable to jump on any enemy, and she cannot spin jump.

The Hakurei Shrine

Marisa gives you advise and general comments though the message blocks in the levels.

Wriggle Nightbug hanging out at the shrine grounds.

Suika looks rather happy.^w^

Koakuma lurking inside a pipe.

Nitori seems to be enjoying the water. also a magic circle spawning danmaku to Reimu's left.

Reimu found a yummy treat. this rice ball will heal you.

Patcholi throwing books around. also does anyone know how to make yellow switch blocks use the question mark bounce block?

Tenshi can cause earthquakes with her keystone.

Yukari chases you persistently with her gaps and shoots clusters of Danmaku.

Suwaku acts rather frog like.

Interesting idea, but IMO the characters should be bosses and the one-hitpoint enemies that show up at the beginnings of touhou levels should be the general enemies.

The touhou sprites need a little more shading.

Will you use cluster sprites to make it more of a bullet hell? That would make boss coding a lot easier because the bosses can all be one sprite that stays in the center of the screen. The cluster sprites would be where the variety in attacks comes in.

yeah...but I'm rather terrible at coding. so i was just going to use the noobie boss for the bosses. also i wanted to have a variety of enemies for levels, not just a bunch of fairies and mr. ghoasties. also just because i use then as a regular enemy, doesn't mean they cannot be a boss.

i messed up something in Translhextion, but i don't remember what number i changed. does anybody know the address and what value it should be?
changing those didn't work. it's not the wrong tile. it just got flipped upside down somehow
