I have applied both the no tile limit patch and the extended no tile limits patch and got a strange thing happening now.

this happens anytime this white starburst happens. when luigi jumps/spin jumps an enemy and when footballs are kicked ect. Does anybody know how to fix this problem or would I be better off removing the extended no tile limit patch?

I have the xkas patch for mario 2 style health. However it doesn't seem to be working with addmusic k. if i install the patch first whenever the player dies the game freezes. if i install it after the addmusic then the death music changes to use the wrong song. I've changed the freespace but that doesn't seem to do anything. Does anybody know how to fix this?

I'm also having problems with the smb2 health bar and addmusick. I've tried xkas and asar and even changed the freespace but nothing is making any difference.

I'm making an overworld and I was wondering how to go about making paths cross like in the original game. If it helps any these paths are water ones. I'm also curious how to reveal a level with multiple events. Do I need another program to accomplish this?

Paths do cross in the original game. most notably in the forest of illusion. I think it may be hard coded.

I thought why not make a cave like level, after trying a few things I came up with something I like.

I came up with this hanging tunnel garden area.

I decided to focus on chucks tending to their garden, some of which are digging about.

and also their precious plants :D
Also is there a tutorial in how to use the new layer three stuff for clouds? I can't figure out how to do that.

Thanks that really helps :D however I seem to be having a problem still. I don't know how to change what graphics are being used. the tiles are just titlescreen stuff. do you know what i'm doing wrong?

The level looks really good so far, although one suggestion I'd like to make is to make an extra colour palette that makes shade under the grass tiles on the underground tileset. I know what you were trying to go for, but right now it looks a little odd that the palette goes brighter under the grass rather than darker.



How is this? I added some darker colors and added the shadow from the grass tileset to it.

So i'm trying to make a better version of mario's amazing adventure, unfortunately I locked it so I had to start over with a fresh rom slowly adding all the music,sprites ect back. While testing one of the levels I realized that somehow yoshi can no longer fly. He gets the wings when holding the shell but when I try to fly I just get one normal jump and that's all. Does anybody know at all what is causing it. The main difrence is that i'm using addmusic k, but I don't see how that would break yoshi flight.

I have a mouser fight in my game, but the level ender i'm using doesn't recognize mouser. it ends the level right away. is there another version i should use or a way to fix this?

A lot of the time it works fine, but sometimes I end up on the wrong overworld map with no way to get back to the path. Has anyone encountered something like this before?
