I have this sprite I'm trying to edit. but i don't know how to get it to teleport you. this is the part of the code that ends the level. How should I change it to warp instead?

Is it possible to replace the in game goombas with a squishable version?
I would use a custom one but then the jumping winged goombas would not be squishable.

so lakitu in smw has code that lets it come back after being killed. is it possible to take that code and apply it to good old boss bass? I would really like to have a level where he isn't literally invincible but at the same time doesn't die forever.

i changed the graphic for yoshi, and for whatever reason. half the walking frames when going left are colored wrong.


does anybody know what is causing this or how to fix it.

edit:for some reason the bottom half is using the red palette instead of the green one.i found out this is also present in the original smw rom if you look closely. where is the code that determines the palette used?

if that were the case why is it only happening when going left. it uses the same graphics for both directions. i changed the red palette to match the green one to see if it was using the wrong palette and it was. which is weird because i only changed graphics in this game so far.

i remeber there being a way to see the other pipe colors in the 16x16 tile map editor, but i forget how. does anybody know how to do that?

no it's not page up/down. that only works in the 8x8 tile selector. what i need to know is how to access the difrent palette varients, because just eding the green one does not change the yellow, blue ect.

does anyone know of a way to change the pallet of the fireballs and fireflower in the item box to blue? I changed the actual fireflower color but the reserve box one stayed the same.

You don't need the "header lorom" in there, the org statement works by itself. Fixed it should look like this:

Even then, changing the palette would't matter, it uses the dark red and orange seen to the right of the normal color palettes.

no that doesn't work. it didn't change anything.
also i know it uses the dark red and orange normally, that can be changed easily.

i have this block that is supposed to break when my mario 3 bowser ground pounds on it. however me and my friend are having problems. the one he made bowser passes right through. can anyone help me with fixing this or point me to one that already exists?
