Hi everyone, I have no knowledge of ASM coding, so I want to use the instant item box patch, but it freezes the game in the intro logo. How do I add a code for each powerup in ASM? Has anyone done this?

Right, thanks. I thought someone might have been trying to use them, because the instant item box patch has a space to add codes specifically for the lx5 custom powerups. But I know very little about ASM to try, the most I would do is copy the code of the normal powerups, but even the feather and the fire flower are different. No chance for me.
If the option is in powerups_defs, yes. It's already enabled by default, I think. I will test a status bar that removes the item box and see if it works well. However, the best combination I want is to use the item box instantly. My main hack is not using custom powerups, so if these little problems are solved, I will try to make my hack with them.
I suppose you just don't want the secret exits to appear. I will tell you how I did it. Look in the asm file for the "level_data" table. You can configure each level separately in this table. To show only the normal exit mark and Yoshi coins, replace the values ​​with $ 08. If you want to certain levels don't show any icon (useful for yoshi's house, for example) replace the level value with $ 80. Just reapply the patch.

We don't have many options to Activate the secret exit 2 and 3, only the goal tape sprite.

So, i want a simple variation of Keyhole sprite, with an option to select wich exit it Activate. (Normal, secret 1, secret 2, secret 3).

That's a variation of fire Mario, but with Cape abilities, that can be acessed with codes in emulator. But, i wish a powerup Sprite that change Mario to "fire Cape Mario" just like the codes do in the video.

It would be nice if "Fire Cape Mario" when hit, return to "Fire Mario" state. (But i think this is way more complicated to code, right?). So, the damage can act like the regular Fire Mario.

I personally prefer the feather for the Powerup sprite. But it's optional.

Additionally, each ability (spin cape when jumping, fly, float) can be activated/deactivated in asm file. That would be nice too.

I really wish this powerup can be possible. It would be an awesome addition to many hacks.

In SMW I think this would work well with the shoe acting like Yoshi (stomping invulnerable enemies, walking on munchers, losing it when hit and being able to get out with X or A). When inside the shoe, Mario's graphic could freeze in the stopped state with the shoe graphic overlaid. It's just an idea, the creator can do as he sees fit.

As an enemy, It can be the same as SMB3, that when stomped, It spawn an empty Shoe.

Additionally, a winged variation would be interesting.

Name: Bowser Haunted Mansion

So, this is a remix from Super Mario 3D World - Shifty Boo Mansion. My interest is in a piano song based on this composition. The violin part is very difficult to reproduce, so I think that can be more simple composition, but with this base it would be very cool.
