Could someone help me because I'm genuinely at a loss right now.

For some background information, I have a mac and ASAR does not work at all on my computer. Maxkas on the other hand does work and I got the remove status bar patch to work perfectly just as a test. With a version of my hack that does not have the remove status bar patch, I'm trying to apply the retry system patch. However, this is not working and when I tried it I got a MASSIVE error log and I have absolutely no idea what to do, nor do I really understand what all it says. Due to my hack being a pretty challenging Kaizo hack, I REALLY want this patch with my hack, more so than the no status bar patch since I've already used a tool that got rid of most of the status bar already (which might be interfering I have no idea). Honestly I don't even know if Maxkas works in general with the retry patch and if it doesn't I'll probably just get someone else to patch it for me or something.

Any help would be greatly appreciated because I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing...

Run it through Wine (though I don't know if Asar is build as a 32-bit program) or build it yourself (all you need is Cmake and a C++ compiler like GCC or Clang, though I can help you out with this part).


For me it doesn’t work on wine despite things like LM itself working fine. I’ll try to build it myself which shouldn’t be too bad and thank you very much. I figured it just was outdated but you never know.

I was wondering if someone could help me figure out how to do a couple things with this sprite:

Basically what I want to do is increase the amount of fireballs that he shoots when on the ceiling and make them a little faster. Make the walking speed just a little slower than the shell speed. And lastly make it so that once you defeat him, the level ends.
Additionally, I do not want to change anything about the Iggy_bolt and I already have it set so that Iggy himself will shoot the bolts.

Sorry if this is a lot but any help would be far beyond appreciated and I really don't want to screw anything up.

You can just ignore this, the sprite’s hitbox is beyond scuffed so ima just use a birdo sprite and it’s super user friendly. I’d delete the thread but I don’t think I can.

I thought Papaya Mountain had some insane yoshi stuff in it, but something tells me
this is going to make the mountain look like a mere hill

So I want to apply 2 UberASM patches to 2 different levels (same patches).
These patches are for Horizontal Screenwrap and a patch that disables the player from using specified inputs
(in this case, it prevents the player from pressing start and select).
I have used both of these patches individually and they work perfectly fine.
I have tried putting in several different lines of code trying to get this to work, the codes are down below.


Now with the first one I just might not have enough of an understanding about inserting gamemodes but even then,
throughout all of my attempts (and the file names have been changed many times and no there aren't any spelling mistakes), UberASM always says


"error:<E5060>: Label 'screenwrap_main' wasn't found [JSL screenwrap_main]"


I'm not sure if this is a problem with my file tree, but all of the other patches
I've inserted before worked perfectly fine and I have never once changed
the location of any folders in my UberASM folder...


If anyone could help me out with my probably very easy to fix problem I would GREATELY appreciate it!
