Some screens from my new hack:

I know Fire Yoshi's pallete is wrong. I will change it.
On fourth screenshot there is my own ExGFX, but with some elements taken from SMB1 8-bit gfx.

@to andy_k_250: I took Yoshi from "Mario to Yoshi" (by André2002) patch. There is no tall version of this yoshi and because of it I used "Mario 1 Tile Interaction Field" (by KPhoenix) patch. These sprites still need some modifications, but they are ok.

@to scratch799: This "YOU FAIL" info is for these people, who will want to reach warp zone in one stage, like in SMB.

@to Broozer: Yes. This is hack where player is controlling blue Yoshi.

I will put new screenshots or a youtube movie soon.

Could somebody make mikeyk's Birdo modification that dies after 6 stomps and couldn't be killed with cape or fireball? And second mod that dies after 9 stomps?

Barneyzhen: Koopas are already in game, stompable goombas are packed with sprite tool and the easiest way to get carriable shyguys in game is editing smw goombas sprite.

Anyway, my request is still actual. Could somebody help me?

Sorry for writing right now, but I still need the Birdo that dies after 6 stomps and second that dies after 9 stomps. I really need them, I was trying to make them on my own, but I couldn't find the script part that is making Birdo die after plumber's stomp.

note 1: The map won't be changed very much.
note 2: Nope, this isn't flying doomship. It's normal pirate ship that swims on the water.
note 3: It's tutorial level inspired with Super Mario Odysey.
note 4: "Pixel tribute" stage. Should I put it as secret, or as normal course?

I'd like to change and actualise my request again. Can somebody put Rex's dying script (without sprite changing) into mikeyk's Birdo with rideable egg? I tried to do this, but I got an asm error.

I've got a new request (but old is still not cancelled): Could somebody make an asm patch that makes fireball always stay in front of Mario and disappears after 1/3 second?

Hello. I wanna put the new Birdo into my hack (Birdo that dies after 3 egg hits), but I've got a problem. In the test hack I installed sprites:
11 birdo_smb2.cfg
12 carryable_egg.cfg
D2 generic.cfg
I select the right gfx, put the sprite 11 on the level with extra info 2. Birdo moves right, but shoots wrong sprite (some grafical glitched poo). What should I do?

Ah, I forgot to tell:

Problem is not in the GFX, because everything is done right in graphics.

The egg, if I set it on the map, works right. It has good pallete, flies left and I can take it. But Birdo shoots unknown sprite.

The sprite poo shot by Birdo doesn't act like egg.

I deleted my previous post, because I really wanna put the birdo in my hack, but I don't know, what I did wrong. Does somebody know?

The 'egg' shot by birdo doesn't act like egg and has glitched sprites. When I put the egg directly on the level, works right and has good gfx.

[Phoneix answer:] No, I downloaded Birdo from updated smb2 enemies pack. It's on the site.

EDIT: Problem fixed! :) I had wrong (old) version of sprite tool.

BlizzC: Looks awesome, but Mario is very weird.

I have two new screenshots from my new hack. Previous (Yoshi vs. satan) died because of chaos in the hack.


This screenshot presents first level of my new hack. Classic field, called "Fortress garden".


I think second level in my hack is much more interesting than first one. This is "Fortress porch". It will be something like maze with some secrets. ExGFX in this level is made by me - simple, but I think it doesn't look bad. The crate shown on the picture is pushable. Somebody could say "Gray lava, pfff", but this is mud.

In my signature there is info about "Luigi's odysee" hack. These screenshots are from this hack, but I didn't decide which Luigi gfx should I take to hack. :P

Daaa77: Pretty nice Megaman tileset.
Metaknight: Good effect, but (privatly) I don't like backgrounds that need more than 1 exgfx.
Mattan: Sand castles look weird, but rest is awesome.

I changed palette of Goomba and shaded this enemy.

Next screen from second level, now showing Boomerang Brothers on the way to the secret.

Koopatroopa: Looks good, but blocks need more shade, I made one in zoom.

It's made with dithering (I think I made a mistake in this word) method.

Maxmillan: I liked water levels very much, rest is ok.

I have uncompleted overworld from my hack. 3 events are completed, there are 3 levels placed and 2 pipes. I want you to tell me what should I correct now.

ps. I saw it know, but I now there is a half of mountain on the beach island.

WhiteYoshiEgg: Looks good, but on first screen the cave entrace looks like ugly rectangle.

I have the almost final overworld design screenie - I have to do only events, level placement and last world design. (I'm talking about overworld.)
