I've been using the C3 Super Mario Odyssey scheme for a while now, but I might swap to the Mario Maker 2 night scheme.

Yes, I'm biased because I helped make the SMM2 scheme. :P
Once upon a time about a decade ago, I used to make levels for SMW. I know, it's crazy. But with Super Mario Maker 1, I actually found the spark to make some more, and with SMM2 I'm trying to get into it once more. I've got four levels to share with you all so far. Three of them are remakes of levels from my SMM1 days that I liked enough to port over, and also because I had a hard time figuring out things I wanted to make with all the new options and it was easy to just rely on some older stuff of mine.

Swingin' Springs: KDY-NP0-M1H
Slip, slide, spring and swing through this slippery level and its many obstacles.

Hanging Block Havoc: 1DK-6PH-DGG
SMM1 remake. The whole level is big blocks suspended from the ceiling! Can you find the secret bonus room and make it to the end in one piece?

Frozen Temple: TV8-MXJ-62G
SMM1 remake. Carefully creep your way through this frozen temple, and avoid danger along the way. Can you find all three hidden 1ups?

Bowser's Budget Bombastion: KD3-72X-2JG
Castles are expensive to make, so Bowser made this one out of cheaper, but less stable materials. Unfortunately, he put bombs in it too. Don't let the place crumble around you, and get to the end!

In all my SMM2 levels, I've placed three 1ups to find. I'm also starting to place a 10, 30 and 50 coin in future uploads as well. Sometimes these items will be easy to get, other times they'll be hidden. I always try to be fair hiding them! Try to find them for extra completion!

Well we had to make the thread because people were going to ask how donations would work under new ownership.
The LMCC is now over! I'll get the judges started on their scoring and have the public voting up soon as well.
It was my first time running the majority of a C3, so there was definitely a learning curve, and I'm still learning a lot of admin stuff as I go. As for not running the timers, we were kind of behind schedule getting all the C3 prep done and were even unsure if we'd hit the event on schedule, so we were worried about putting up a timer and having to revoke it.

Let it be a lesson to me to never again underestimate how much time it takes to put together an event.

Yeah I noticed too, maybe id 40000 is reserved for something...

Hey, that was kind of lame-ish

I wonder what purpose did that have at all?

Sorry for the late reply. I can explain what's up here. So at some point before I became admin, presumably years ago, a number of user IDs were "registered" for use as User Groups. Some of them were big, round number User IDs. My best guess is that round numbers used to encourage people to spam account creations or create rereg accounts to try and "snag" that number. User ID 40000 is currently listed as "Unused Usergroup 21" and unused groups aren't visible to normal users just because, well, there's nothing to them at the moment.

But yeah, there's no conspiracy here or anything like that. Just some behind the scenes site stuff. Hope that clears things up.
Yeah! The event went very smoothly even if the planning was a bit rocky, and that's all that matters in the end. Hope everyone had fun with it.

Scrydan over here smoking the transcendent peyote, going on a vision quest. #wario{O_O}
People used to spam refreshes when we got to big round view counts like 100,000,000 so they could be "the one" to get the 100 millionth page view. That's even less significant than a round user ID, and yet they tried for it.

I mean, I'll admit that I really like my user ID of "50" because it's a very nice round number, but I didn't try for it. I just happened to be the 50th user to register when the site came back online in August 2007.
