Hey there,

So I'm looking to remove the Stage Clear fanfare from one specific level. I want it to continue playing everywhere else, but this level I'm creating, I just want it to be silent. Is there a way to do this?

The easiest way is probably to use the Goal Tape disassembly (insert it as a custom sprite with PIXI) and change "!Music = $0C" to "!Music = $00".

Hey Kevin, didn't work unfortunately. It could be due to the fact that I'm using FluxBaserom, but I'm unsure.

Try opening the cfg file and changing the second line from 7B to 36.

That worked, but now all my custom sprites from the FluxBaserom Pack have turned into Shell-less koopalings, with weird palette's.

That usually means that the custom sprites you inserted in the level haven't been inserted with PIXI... maybe you used the wrong list.txt for the tool and ended up removing all custom sprites already included with the ROM?

I think I may have just learned why. Because FluxBaserom uses runGPS.bat as it's core function inject everything, I'll need to insert the asm through this way. Regardless, I'll report back on my findings but progress I guess.

Update: It works through the FluxBaserom method. Thanks for your help today Kevin. One more thing if possible, would there be a way to remove the big score that shows up on this version of the goaltape? The ASM I'm using on the others don't have it. Is there anything I may need to remove in the ASM file?

Update 2: All good. I got it. For archive purposes, it's in the goaltape disassembly asm file 'goaltape.asm'. Find "JSL.l $07F1CA" and delete it.
