FInally I'll stop here.

Because I don't have enough inspiration.

Sorry.

To moderators: you can close it, I won't work on it anymore, but I'll still participate in some topi of the forum.

--------------------

I'm planning making some videos like The series of Asshole mario on youtube.

However, I don't have the tools I need.

I'll use camstudio(The logiciel that take a video of the screen)

But the audio? How to keep the audio? I record from camstudio, but... no audio?)

But, I don't have a editor able to modify the video(I'll only cut I think. Exactly like the asshole mario series on youtube.)

I'm looking to somethings free.

Can someone help me?

Thanks you.

PS: I'm on XP

Never mind. I've found what I need... almost.

To close.

--------------------

If I got more times or more inspiration, I might continue it.
I'll keep it on my computer.

From now, I'll do some video like Asshole mario.
Or maybe, I'll do a kaizo mario.
But a normal game... well...

Hello,

I am using your application and I'm not able to save my project manager(Is that the name?)

What I do:

-Open Lazy shell
-Open Projects
-click on element list
-Choose levels
-Edit the names of these levels.
- I click "save as"
- I save.

However, when I try to open a project database, a message says that this is a notes file and it must be converted into a project. I click yes.

After, it says that is not a valid project file.

My plan is to modify only the names of my future levels and solidity.

Some times I have errors:

I think that modifying the level names before doing the levels is a huge help concerning organization.

Is it an error from Lazy shell or mine?

Thanks you.

--------------------

Woops, I didn't notice that.

I'm sorry. And thanks you!

Edit:

I tried one error that I could make on the version I was using on the new one and it still occurs.
It occurs when I don't choose anything on the element list, then click on "add indez to element notes".

You could just make the Lazy shell to warn you that no indez were choosen?

Hello,

I don't understand at all some of the options of the maps tab of the level editor.

Maps: Why should we indicate a number?
GFX tiles: I understand the concept, but I don't understand why the graphics get glitched sometimes. Is it because the GFX set are determined( What I mean is, for example, #9 Kingdom's house MUST be associated with GFX set #1 in order to not glitch?
Tilesets: I don't understand tilesets
Tilemaps: I need more explication.

The rest I understand.

Thank you.

--------------------

Thanks you for your answer.

A tileset is the kit of tiles that is used for the tilemaps.
Tilemaps is how the tiles are displayed.

Have I understood?

But, just to clarify, I need to distinguish tilemaps from maps #.
Because, in my eyes, a map is all 3 tilemaps combined.

Also, I need to understand why some tiles gets glitched in the tilesets because I'd like to add a bed in a sunken ship room.

--------------------

Good.

However, I still don't understand why the GFX glitch.

I'll understand better if you explain why it glitch in my case:

Before I change any GFX set, I have the sets #40 to 44 + 4(L3)
However, if I change 42 because I don't need pipes to 20 because I'd like to put a bed, the GFX glitch. The rest is untouched.

Thank you.

--------------------

I think it looks nice!
I think you should make a complete hack with OOT's levels. It should looks nice.

--------------------

For the last error, I absolutely don't know sadly. I was just playing with the editor without attention and woops it crashed.

--------------------

I think you should just let in.

--------------------

Hello!

I was browsing the patches list for Super Mario World since I am interested of doing a hack.

I found some pairs of patchs that do the same thing.

Here is two examples:

http://www.smwcentral.net/?p=section&a=details&id=4549
http://www.smwcentral.net/?p=section&a=details&id=4535

http://www.smwcentral.net/?p=section&a=details&id=4127
http://www.smwcentral.net/?p=section&a=details&id=4320

I'm sure there is more than that.

Edit: forgot to say why I posted this: I was wondering if a remoderation and/or a better name system would be implemented in the future.

--------------------

Your hack looks amazing!

There is some things I think it would improve it:

Mario:
I think mario should be "greener". Like green instead of red and a darker green instead of blue? I don't know.

Coins:I think it would be cool if you Change the coins graphics into rupees?

Levels sizes: I'm not sure if it's doable, but I think the levels are too big compared to mario.

"Fairy cavern" Maybe a sunlight like the original zelda at the entrance? I think it's also too bright.

Inside the castle: I think some graphics should be changed since it doesn't look like the original.

What I like:

I like the warp Idea. It will save some time if they lead to some key places!(I think that more than one star of the stars should be collected in order to make the pipe appears.

I like your vision.

Keep in mind that all my little things is just my opinion and suggestions.

--------------------

Oh I see. I didn't know that.

I think they should appear side by side on the same page in the list and not appearing in a diferent page(like the second pair: one were amongs the first pages and the others among the last pages.

I had troubles finding what I need. I had to search through the nine pages. That's why I was wondering if there is some change planned.

--------------------

I know the existence of the filter results. However, it's the accepted date that is making things hard in my opinion, also the names in some instance. I think the alphabetically order would be better because the two walljumps would be side by side. With some name system, every patches similar should be near.

But I think It is not that important.

Thank you for your time Koopster.

--------------------

I'd like to know what is the différences between patches that are for xkas and patches for Asar.

Also, what is the average of patches that can be patched to a forum according to freespace?

For example, in hacks that has used all freespaces avaible with some patches and sprites, how many patches are used?

I am asking this because I have like 15 patches I am interested to implement in a future hack.

Of course, the number of freespace used varies, but I'd like to know if 15 patches are already too much if we don't count the sprites.

--------------------

Thank you for your answer!

Honestly, I did not understand very well the thingy with asar and xkas.

Asar patches utilize asar commands.
xkas patches utilize what?

What is the utility of asar commands?( I need more exmplanation than an example)

About the number of patches question: thank you!
I have some new questions: Can I delete some sprites, music or graphics(all that things that use freespace) that I'm 100% certain that I won't use in a hack in order to free some space?
