Hey, I am trying to make a level for my rom hack that is completely vanilla. When I go to the mario head and change the amount of screens in the level and hit ok, if I don't save and go back to it than it's what I changed it to. However, if I do save, than it resets to the value it had before. Any help would be appreciated.
How can I edit the beginning level in lunar magic? (The one with the message:bowser had kidnapped peach yadda yadda yadda. I've already edited it but I want to edit it more and I don't know the level number.
If I want to change the text in the overworld editor it says it is level zero but in the level editor that's just the neverending bonus game.
I didn't get the txt file either, but it doesn't matter because I didn't use anything custom for my levels. You can use whatever music you feel is fitting for the levels I made (I was thinking Big Blue for Initial M and Running Hell for !!!!!!!!!!!!! But I'm not picky, if you're using those tracks already then cool, if not, then use whatever.)
Also, could anyone who played my levels tell me what they thought of it? I'm interested to hear critiques on some of my later levels.
I loved your levels, they are extremely fun because I like hard levels .
I have beaten them all except sea of troubles and anything else seceret in donut plains. I have beaten mushroomish kingdom though.
First make a folder in the same directory as your ROM and name it ExGFX (Case sensitive). Now go in Lunar Magic and click the yellow mushroom on the toolbar. If it comes with Map16Page.bin and Map16PageG.bin, you will want to import these. To do this press F3 in the 16x16 Tile Map Editor on a blank Map16 page, then press yes. You should now be able to insert the graphics.
