So basically, whenever I die and try to respawn with the retry asm it stays black, but when I beat the level, it then starts to work. My guess is that when I used the boot on overworld asm it fucked it up (I didnt test the retry asm before I used the boot on ow asm). I also tried reinserting, it didnt work.
