You're going to change !FlagRAM to $0019 (This is the RAM address for Mario's Powerup) and !FlagValue to #$03 (Fire Mario).

And that should be all it takes. Haven't used the patch myself though, so let me know if it breaks or something.

hey it's me again I just learned how to put but he sacrificed luigi be different more apart from that I managed to make fire mario be different more I still have to get Mario and luigi to be in the same game with fire separate
edit:rom got corrupted

There is a well-known glitch that has this effect if your level is using the line-guided rope sprites. Basically, if Mario is hanging on the rope and gets pushed off by a solid wall, the game will think he's still in front of the rope and allow him to climb anywhere.

If you are not using that sprite in the level, though, then it's really hard to say where the problem is. It may be from some resource you're using in the level, or it may be a conflict between two patches you've applied. In that case it may just be easiest to port to a new ROM.
