Alright, I fixed it, no more crashes, eventhough I need to know how add in sprite priority, because the Piranha Plant, Torpedo Teds, etc are going behind the background. D:
EDIT: This topic can be closed now. I fixed all problems.
Nice job, really. I'm using all of them. I got one question though. The fire of Gao/Nyololin is going upwards instead of straight or towards Mario. How can I change it?

Horay, that means that I can use that as my hack name now. Good for pac.
You sure? Super Mario's Quest was the first released hack made by me. I allowed Pac to use this name. ;)
I request the RAM address which sets the brightness on the overworld, if possible.
If that's the case, then I'd like to know where the routine for the OW brightness is located at.
I would do it myself, but I suck at tracing addresses.
Yes, you can transfer the overworld, eventhough you will have to redo the palette again. Just do this:
- Open the ROM with the OW you want to transfer
- Open the OW Editor
- Go back to Lunar Magic's Level Editor and open another ROM
- Go to the OW Edtior (you will see garble palettes)
- Hit save and you're done!
For music, it's not really possible.
Some HDMA stuff:
Color gradients =D
Fog ^_^
More to come soon.
The routine that stores the brightness for the OW.
Thanks, it was just to show the effect. It won't be used in that level though.
Yup, the block works fine. I'm using it myself. I'm pretty sure you've mixed up the offsets.
xD, yea. I found a new addmusic on Carol's site. This one allows you to insert ending music and it can be used on any ROM, which is 1MB to 4MB. It will automatically initialize the ROM and delete previous music. More can be found in the readme.
Ersanio, I don't search google. I just know most of the Japanese websites, seeing that I was in contact with them, Carol & homing.
More HDMA
I might release another HDMA kit once I'm done with the effects I think can be useful. If you guys got more suggestions on color gradients, feel free to PM me.
P.S. If I release this kit, it's safe to say you DON'T need to start all over. You can use this on any kind of hack, you only need free space in your ROM.
Edit: Another fog variant.
Afaik, it's all stored in LoROM Bank $11. Just open your ROM in YY-CHR or TLP.
Depends, what do you need help with? Also, the gradients were based off Carol's *shrugs* buggy code, which has been fixed already.
You can use 2 HDMA effects in one level, eventhough NOT 2 color gradient types or 2 scrolling types. What you can do is combine a gradient and a scroll effect to make a nice desert or underwater level.
Or you know, if someone has enough programming language they could make a better program with a nice GUI.
SMW is LoROM format.
Either $00:8000-$6F:FFFF or $80:8000-$FF:FFFF
As I said, just brows around it in the ROM and you should find it.
If you're too lazy to do so, the logo should be stored at x80800.
Lunar Magic? >_>
If you mean the actual palette for the graphics, in the .bin file included with the sprite. Then reinsert it and set your palette.
With a GUI, you can actually name your songs, chose which file to insert at which slot, etc.
