Layer 2 can only display a FG not a BG. Thats the best I can put it. Some castles have a layer 3 background (Castle with the windows) but Layer 2 levels cannot display BG's
Fixed ^^
Try setting the level one screen lower, Vertical levels are picky about screen entrances. (Normally an even number)

So, only use one if you think its appropriate then eh?
Fair enough, notmany people would want to use that many Moons anyway (I think). They would probably be best suited for bonuses (obviously) or just before a really tough boss (where one would lose a lot of lives).
When you say professional hacker, I think yoshicookiezeus (I've watched his cookie crisis levels and I was like o.O is that even possible!?)

There is an xkas patch that fixes it I believe too.
EDIT: I also think he meant the goal sphere not the goal tape.
Two pipes that lead to different secondary levels?

Yes, but my point being, at the end of the level, they go to one of those areas you call test levels, something that you have to do or you get a messed up victory march where the layer 3 tide vanishes.
Thats why they don't put goal tape in those levels. They put a pipe at the end that leads to a level that has no layer 3 tides but puts a goal tape there instead.
No, page 2 is where tileset specific tiles go. They'll only work if you use the tileset they're in (such as castle or forest). Whatever tile your flipping, it will always look like the tile you originally flipped because they use the same 8x8 tiles.
Would it be possible for somebody to submit a .dsc file so that I knew what some of the Map16 blocks do? I know there is a level (in Toad town) which shows what some of the blocks do but I don't know what they all do. Some blocks look the same and I may not be able to tell them apart.

So it would be 5 custom blocks at max per person?
Maybe a message box that gives you numbers or something and you have to work it out. (like in the cookie crisis demo with the falling spinies on vines)
Xkas gui just has a few bugs in it as all.
You wont be able to add it to a current page (you could on a new page), you can only replace a current tile that is there for use on the background since backgrounds can only use 1 page of Map16.
Will a .dsc file be submitted so we know what all the blocks do?
