Am I going to regret participating in this? I must admit a degree of nervousness.

Okay, so if I have a few files from my Flash class, is that okay? I should just submit all of the files in one thread so, if I understand correctly, it would count as one submission.

I think I have a few more things, I want to submit, but I don't think they are complete, if you know what I mean. I was going to submit a test level for my SMW2 game to see if it's good enough to use in my actual game

You're on my team, so my answer is definitely yes. ^^
For an entry to be part of C3, it has to be posted in this forum.
Well. I admit defeat. ;_;
Really bored at the moment, so I decided to finally open a Twitter account.

Blatant self-promotion!
Hi again! ^^

Some of you may have noticed my recent absence from the board following my... erm, "career change". As the new Scrap Authority, I've essentially been in charge of all the trash around this place, and let me tell you, there's a lot of it.

In order to not be completely bored out of my mind, I decided to look through a lot of it, tracing the history of the worst of this site. It became essentially an archaeological dig through the years, events, wipes and all that. Then, at the bottom of a very deep pile of mostly junk, I encountered something.

As some of you may know, back when Kieran Menor and Smallhacker founded this site, their philosophy was focused around five pillars of SMW hacking, the aspects they wanted to assist hackers with. These pillars thus acted as the foundation of the entire website.

For those who weren't around at the very start, the pillars were: the pillar of Musicality, focusing on adding atmosphere to one's game, the pillar of Architecture, the design of levels and maps to basically create your own world, the pillar of Reprogramming, allowing one to not only bend but outright change the rules of the game, the pillar of Illustration, giving your game its own unique look and feel, and finally the pillar of Organization, the desire to provide easy access to the collected knowledge and resources of the community. Kieran and Smalls believed that with these five pillars, anything was possible.

And then they were all buried in spam, trash and other worthless posts. Luckily, all of them were found again. All except one: the pillar of Organization. Until the other day, at least, when I happened to stumble upon it during my archaeological journey through the site's past.

While it may be quite a while before the pillar returns to full power - largely due to how long it was buried - it surely means that bright times are ahead. ^^

Well, Chester has found five pillars, but six? Wow, I must need to shine my pumpkin here.

I only claimed to find the pillar of Organization. The rest were already rediscovered by others, some shortly after being lost in the first place. >_>

...God DAMN it, Chester! Just because we don't use a default banner for a month for the freakin' holidays doesn't automatically "mAkE iT sCrAp" you idiot! Now we gotta make a whole new banner and... ugh. Can't go one second without this site falling apart when I'm not looking.

Ugh System, can't you just chill out for a few seconds? >_>

I'm not trying to point fingers or anything, but personally I put full blame on Chester

Why would I drain the banner's colours for C3?

All of these accusations feel baseless to me. Look, I want the first C3 of the new decade to start off on the right foot for everyone, so instead of trying to point fingers at each other, let's come together to figure out who the culprit is. Fighting between each other isn't gonna help. With a Master Detective on the case, I'm sure we can have the mystery solved in no time if we all share any info we might have! ^^

Apparently, some idiot (Chester) broke the site banner

Here's a question: can you stop throwing the blame around on innocent people? T_T

Rummage through his crap, you'll find the color, guaranteed.

Look all you want, I don't have the color!
Wait, you're letting  System be the defendant's attorney?! This feels awfully familiar...

It's also disappointing to see so many staff involved with this gambling ring, shame on all of you! Who's running this place now?!

Oh well, I know I can trust the userbase to help me out. Remember to bring all evidence to the courts so we can bring some order and justice to the site!
My apologies, thank you for the correction.
Hey, I remember Cave Story! It'll be interesting to see how you translate all that exploration into SMW. Keep up the good work!

You're supposed to be the responsible one leading the defense, and you don't even know your own role here. Hmph. Unbelievable.

Geez, well it took you long enough to show up. -_- I knew giving you control of the site again would be a bad idea, but I didn't think you'd start allowing underground gambling rings!
Oh dear, this looks very hard! I don't think I'd ever be able to play this...

There are some neat ideas here, but...did you notice all the cutoff?

I don't think this will get accepted to the site. Also, it's Kaizo.
What a nice little fix! It looks like people are making trickier hacks these days, so I think these spikes would give the player a bit less of a headache.
Hey, I watched this hack on stream last night! I don't like Kaizo much, but I bet for those who do, this will be a pretty neat hack! (I also don't like tomatoes much either...)
I'm sorry, but what is the point of this thread? I don't even think half of these "facts" are real...
Wow, those screenshots look very nice! Some people think the redrawn graphics are used too much, but I think you've given them a nice update!
Goodness, there's some crazy sprites being shown off! I don't know how I'd ever get past some of these obstacles. >_>
I didn't realize Touhou was so popular still. That game used to be *everywhere* on the site! These are some very nice ports, though.
