Hello, I'm fsvgm777, as you can judge from my username.

My real name is Stéphane.

I live in Luxembourg and I'm 17 years old. I can speak French, German, English and Luxembourgish (my native language) fluently.

I still go to school (even though there are at least two more years to go...), which will start mid-September here.

My interests are: playing video games, but also SMW hacks. Maybe I'll start making a SMW hack of my own. I also watch videos on YouTube and do stuff on my computer.

I'm trying to translate SMW to Luxembourgish, but before I'm going to translate the rest of the box messages and the level names, I will have to translate the ending message.

Here's a list of what I've already done:
- Changing "TIME" to "ZAIT"
- Editing some GFX, like the "EXIT" panel to "SORTIE" (I know, it's French, but the Luxembourgian language borrows some French words)
- Changing the "Nintendo Presents" logo
- Translating the first box messages located in the ROM file
- Translating the "File Select", "Delete", Game Over and Save menus

What I still have to translate:
- Enemy names (not going to be a piece of cake, I'll have to say)
- Level names
- The rest of the box messages
- The ending message (not the credits)
- The boss sequence text

Screenshots coming soon!

First off, sorry for the long delay, but here are the first screenshots of my translation!

Continue (after a Game Over) screen

NOTE: Ignore the time at the lower right corner and the FPS counter at the lower left corner. Those are two features I really like in ZSNES.

NOTE 2: This is a work in progress. That's why "Yellow Switch Palace" is still untranslated.

One question though: How can I change the "Course Clear" message?

Thanks, Airbourne Bubblun. That was very helpful.
I changed it to this:

@Jorshamo:

The game uses Flash memory. There are two different Flash memory types: 64K and 128K. VisualBoyAdvance sets it by default to 64K. The game requires 128K Flash memory to save properly, otherwise you get the error you mentioned.
To change it, go to Options -> Emulator -> Save Type -> Flash 128K (on VBA 1.7.2), then it should work just fine. Oh, and remember to delete the old save file of your game (usually at the directory where your ROMs are or at a Saves directory you specified, it has a ".sav" extension).

In Luxembourg, the license plates are either in LL #### or ##### (L=letter; #=number) format. Older plates are either in L #### or LL ### format.

So the funniest combination possible would be IM 1337 or 31337 or IR 1337.

I'd laugh even more if the plate was AA 1337, as police cars' license plate are in AA #### format. Here, AA are two given letters.

I guess a lot of users may have found my username cryptic, but here's how I thought up my username:
"fs" are the initials of my full name, "vgm" stands for videogamer and 777 is basically what I call the ultimate lucky number (i.e. when you get 777 on a slotmachine, you get the jackpot).

I use a Logitech Dual Action gamepad. It looks similar to a SNES controller, except that it has two joysticks, so it looks more like a PlayStation controller.
For hotkeys on ZSNES, I use the following:
Numpad 0-9: Select state 0-9
Numpad +: Speed up emulation
Numpad -: Slow down emulation
F2: Save state
F4: Load state

The rest are pre-configured on ZSNES.

Luxembourgian and Belgian.
I have descendance from Belgium and maybe from the USA, as I have an US cart of Super Mario Land.

1) Super Mario Bros. 3 (NES)
2) Super Mario 64 (N64)
3) Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins (GB)
4) Paper Mario (N64)
5) Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga (GBA)
6) Super Mario Galaxy (Wii)
7) Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (GC)
8) Super Mario Bros. (NES)
9) Super Mario Land (GB)
10) Super Paper Mario (Wii)
