Heh, funnily enough, I brought this game about 3 weeks ago, and it is a really good game. I've only played through it on acolyte, but I plan on completing it on harder difficulties. Eclipse Scythe is my favourite weapon, lol.

Genshin in chapter 2 was a boss I struggled with when I first played the game. I got at least over 100 gameovers on him, because an achievement popped up saying the criteria was to get 100 gameovers.

Yeah, if I'm correct, the trials start appearing from Chapter 4 onwards, though I could be wrong, so don't hold me to that, heh.

The first one I know is inside the statue of liberty where you get the dual katanas. If you have the rod of trials, it should glow, but again I could be wrong. =)

@FlamingRok Not played the second one on the NES yet, I've only played the first one, but it's good nonetheless.

Yeah, had a similar problem as well. Normally, where I live, there's little to no fireworks at the start of the new year, but this time, a neighbour two doors down actually brought a load of fireworks, so my dog was shaking and cowering throughout the entire affair til at least two in the morning. I guess there is little to nothing you can do about it though, and hey, at least it's only once a year (twice for Bonfire night here in the UK).

No matter, 2013 should be a good year. Hope it's a great year for everybody. :)

I think the least they could of done in Mario Party 9 was at least give a classic option, so you could play the game with the original mechanics instead of using cars. But then again, since the boards were designed specifically for the cars, it probably wouldn't of worked that well.

For actual minigames, MP9 was on the right track, so more of the same is alright. Just hope that no minigames like "Get a rope" from MP5 return. Man, I hated that minigame so badly.

"That's why... I pray to no one! Nor will I be prayed to! But... above all else, I will never... forgive you... for making my daughter cry!!"

From Asura's Wrath, when Asura fights Chakravartin.

I absolutely loved this game. Brought me back to some very good memories of a Link to the Past. My only real problem with the game is the length, but there is no denying that it is a beautiful, well-made game. The new item system does keep the game fresh, and it was amazing finding all the 100 Maiamais and heart pieces
...except one... Damn that baseball minigame.
, and I liked how visiting everywhere in Hyrule had a purpose, even if that area of the map looked redundant at first. Hero-mode was extremely fun to do as well.

A brilliant 2D Zelda game.

Well, haven't played Chess in a few years, but I'll have a go. I'm in. =)
