Hi everyone! I'm RedRose. My real name is Sara. I've been a lurker since 2007, and I thought it's time for me to stop being shy and start posting, especially since i'm working on a hack of my own and I want to share it with this community. So i'm glad to be on board, everyone! :)

Are you saying that you don't want the sparkles or pallete flashes, but still be invincible, right?
I'm tired of seeing sprites thats just edits in tweaker, like the Yellow Shyguy or the invincible parahna plant. Or sprites that just don't work and messes up other sprites, like the level message sprite thats supposed to change the text after a event has passed, or the Layer 3 water height sprite. I want those removed. Maybe people should test/Moderate those sprites before thier accepted, like hacks. I know thats a lot of work, but....
Is there a way to disable Baby Mario's crying? I remember seeing it somewhere, and I checked the Rom map, but I didn't find it. Do anyone else know it?
I'll ask here. What is the SFX offset for baby Mario's crying? Also, is there a way to disable the intro after the Nintendo Presents screen?
Well,Jacob disabled it in his GoYo returns hack, so I thought everyone knew it. Also, I thought I saw the offset for Baby Mario's crying somewhere here before, but it might have been a game genie code, I'll check.
This may not be the right place to ask, but I need some help. I want to try to port as many songs from the game "Yoshi's Cookie" for the snes, but i have no real idea on how to do it. I read some of the tutorials, but the songs never come out right. I just need some advice from people who ported songs before. Any help?
Well, this is like my 2nd time porting a song. It never works for me. My first song was the title screen of Dr Mario, but I couldn't even get that to insert with addmusic. now I want to try to port songs from Yoshi's Cookie for a project, but I just don't know where to start. Is there a way to take SPC's from the snes version and port them somehow?
1. Is there a way to disable the transperency that the big boo boss creates when he appears onscreen?

2.Is it possible to add a yoshi drums effect to songs now, like when you jump on yoshi, the music changes a bit? I remember seeing this info somewhere before.

Then where should I ask this then? Adding Yoshi drums to songs and disabling transparency from sprites sounds pretty advance to me......

And I wanted to add Yoshi Drums to songs that's already made.
OK. just to be clear, if I made this block and activate it at the beginning, when i jump on Yoshi, the Yoshi drums effect will play even without editing the song? Sorry if wasn't clear enough.

Also changing the Big Boo Boss palette doesn't stop other sprites from being transparent, which is what I'm trying to stop.
Wow BBlink. Its good to see you're back. The screens looks awesome. I really like how this is turning out. Great work! I saw your videos, too, and the progress this hack is making. I personally love redrawn graphics when there done right.

I also loving the Yoshi's Cookie idea. From the video, yours actually have ripped GFXs from the original game. Oddly enough, I was trying to port music from the original, but was very unsuccessful.I wish I could make this for you to help make the Yoshi cookie experience good.

Yeah a level did look similar too Oddessy. I'm guessing that was a long time ago, right? You did say on your site that you took shortcuts. I don't care, I still want to play.
How do you find extra RAM addresses? There are some patches that require this, but I don't know how to find these offsets.
