Thats pretty much the problem i recently think the comunity has, they tend to idealize the concepts of how you should make a game, and if you don't follow you are like breaking some divine rules, we forgot that you can make something "questionable" in terms of design, and it still would be pretty fun to play.

My level 105 looks the same way :P but the ROM still works fine, i just avoid the level, and now also i backup everytime since i apply patches, the freespace issues are like the easiest way to crash your ROM.

I think my OW talks about my opinion of how overworlds show be like (WIP)

Rect paths, linear and tiny gaps between levels.

"Traditional SMW" style also works, but i rather prefer my style, as someone said, if you aren't going to add multiple paths to your level progression, curved or more complex path shapes aren't necesary, you can decorate a lot your OW, but ain't a important feature as the levels.

I think the same way, and... I don't know about you, but I feel the level looks somewhat lifeless due to the fact that its BG doesn't scroll differently from the FG, they scroll at the same speed, which (to me) makes the level lack movement and thus, feel boring.


*bump* i agree with you, originally the level had a more upbeat music but someone told me to change it...

about the boringness of the graphics, hm i not sure how to fix it (probably destroying the level and making another one xd), note that the layer3 and hdma arent implemented yet in the base ROM.
