The stage from the video is nice, the grafics are pretty neat (except for the underground part, it clashes but it's just a personal opinion), level design is linear which i really like, but you can spice up a little bit with some plataforms at different heights, beacuase all the level is like a flat mass of ground with holes, or at least is the impression i got of it.

I also got the lighting generator "bug" in one of my castles, to get rid of it in a easy way, you could add in the screen before and after you put the bullet bills a "turn off all the generators" sprite, that for sure will make it, as an overall, looks like a nice, long hack to play, but i think you really need an OW, i don't care if is a block of ground with paths, but using the original is pretty lazy, also probably the mods wouldn't like that.

Keep the good work, don't rush it, in my personal experience isn't a good idea to do that.

Gracias, no tengo ningun incoveniente en lanzar los sprites despues de que lanze mi hack (creo que para finales de este año), eso si supongo que tendre que arreglar un poco el codigo para que sea aceptable :)

La verdad es que no estoy conforme con los graficos del grande, la idea era que fuera un ninji "mama canguro" pero no se alcanza a notar mucho, ademas los bordes son bastante pixelados (no pude hacer los graficos a partir de 0, tuve que ampliar el ninji original x2 y asi editarlo)...

For some reason the bg seems to be the focus of my inspiration to work on the level, so is the first thing i do, also im not very fond of using grafics from anyone else, i think they clash with the smw style, so i draw everything, i also like to add that of "its like original smw, but with more things" so my levels tend to have custom sprites based on the original ones, things that you would expect on a smw 2, i also make my levels extremely long, like 3 normal stages (600 seconds or more), they are pretty linear, weird shaped and almost everyone have a bonus room, every level is like one month of work, probably because that i'm lazy, i only like to work when i'm highly motivated and i have already a complete idea of what i will do on it.

I like to "spam" koopas, coins and HDMA in my levels also, i don't understand why people care so much about OW's, since the one i have is a squared island with straight paths.

Well i have a lot more, i think that my behavior resumes on "smw expanded or sequel" like hack.

I beated SMWCP worlds 1-6 savestateless, the wild wet castle was so imposible.

I'm still playing it, it's pretty hard at sometimes, but my main problem is the time issue, i can't beat it in the "100% mood" without dying and restarting in the midpoint, at sometimes, i ended the levels like with 20 seconds or less, i guess if i rushed the things a bit could be fair, but i tried to get all the dragon coins and inspect every pipe or route, recently finished the Aztec pyramid, so probably today i'm going to beat today the demo :D.

At the moment i don't get any secret exit from a ghaost house or fortress, i had the impression that in the cavern manor it could have something hidden, i tried like 1 hour so i gave up with that.

Also i found some minor errors, also some oddities in my opinion with the sprites (for exapmple, the bullets in bullet bill cave can be killed with shells, don't you think it's a litlle weird?).

The difficulty curve in my opinion is nice, for a little hack, because don't know how you are going to make it more difficult in world 7 without being impossible to play, i think you are going to reach the max difficulty at this rate in world 4-5.

Well i think that some grafics shine in their own style, but when you put mario on them... it just don't mix, looks out of place.

I also love Map16, created like a half page of tiles based on the cave tileset to make weird shapes, but i don't overuse them, i think it looks dull when the level is too charged on decoration details like those (like when the ground have triangles, squares, stars holes just by the sake of having them)

sunwarrior25: Boo looks extremely nice, but the shape of the mouth of the big one is weird in the first frame, maybe add more shading in the cheek.

edit1754: Hmm don't really get it... did you mean that i should put the pillars on layer 1 to make them scroll at different time of the clouds?

GeorgeVsSonic: Thanks, those grafics will be used for the mountain world castle of my hack.

Karatekid5: Sorry but is not vanilla, it uses some original tiles in the mountains and clouds but the pillars are handrawn by myself, also i had to create some tiles to mix the mountain with the pillars and that stuff.

S.C.O.R.P.I.O.N.: Looks awesome, would love to see how they animate in game.

I played the entire hack, and for a first hack i have to say it's ok, remind me of my first one, when i didn't care if the levels were extremely anyoing of dificult (almost kaizo), and in some form, they were still memorable and fun to play, i had the same feeling with the hack, it was difficult, and i used save states to the limit, even doing things like shell jumps, key jumps, springboard glitches to pass to the extreme parts (or just by lazyness, i founded sometimes more fun to try to break it and do something crazy than actually playing like it was suposed to be, like in that ice cave level with the giant mole passage).

It was interesting trying to manage how to progress in the game, and thats something very rare to find, since some levels require the switches, yoshi, or even some powerups to get pass, i have to think a lot of how to deal some parts or how to get some secret exits, while the vast mayority of the hacks make secret exits like usseless bonus or secondary paths, you make them necessary to continue, i don't think if you have thought of it but is a really clever idea.

Obiously this hack won't be accepted in the Hacks section, due it's difficulty, overusage of munchers, bad palletes, cutoff, and some little things that make some people cry, if you don't care about that, i recomend this hack.

Also, you can actually get the secret exit in that forest, requires shell jump.

Edit: actually if you get that secret exit of the forest, i won't be necesarry to break mario's house, because that leads to the other switch palace.
