347: Don't put in a P Switch if it isn't required to be used, generally players think they are required to be used if they are even there.

I'll bet they regret it by now.
At least they have a smoothie generator now.
But what about FuSoYa? I'd think he had something to do with this site.
I haven't met anyone on this site, and no one here really knows me on this site anyway.

How would I resize something in YY-CHR?
For example, say I wanted to have Cape Mario replaced with '64 Mario's winged hat. (Hah, yeah right) I'd want to put wings on Mario's cap, but wings in SMW are as big as his head itself. How would I go on about that?
Note that's only an example, and a bad one at that I'm hopefully not going to do that.

There's a sprite limit for each level, I believe it's 89. If you put too many sprites in one level, sprites start disappearing, or worse, disappearing while still being in effect.

Would someone explain to me how to use the message boxes? I can put them on, but I don't see how to see what message they'll go to when hit. I don't want to have to test the hack just to see what it'll say, and sometimes it'll give me the same message regardless of it's X position.
Also, can they only use two messages; one for odd X potions and one for even X positions? How do I change which message the box goes to?

Oh.
By that, you mean there's a lot of random special characters in the file?
I get that sometimes in error box form...SS please?
Like in the Nico Nico Douga video, I want to put in a block that makes Mario teleport once hit.
Is that an ASM thing, a Custom Block thing, or something built into Lunar Magic?

352: Don't abuse Map16 in a way that requires the player to spend a very long time on Trial & error. Reasonable Map16 is reasonable.
Aww, my color sucks.
Someone I know is interested in SMW hacking. Sadly though, they don't have a copy of SMW, so they want to know if it's legal.
(Normally playing ROMs is illegal if you don't have a copy, but it's hacking and playing a ROM!)

I want to change the palette used by something.
How?
How?
No, I know how to change the palette. I want to know how to change what palette something uses.
Bad example.
If I made Mario a goomba on GFX32.bin, but I made Mario a bob-omb on AllGFX.bin, what would Mario be when I inserted the graphics?
Because I have both the GFX files and the separated GFX files, and I'm starting to get the feeling they're interrupting eachother.

Do Custom block/sprites require ExGFX knowledge to look the way they were made to look?
