Hey smwExpert, i'm the guy who designed Barren Beach. I wanted to know if possibly there could be any other levels I could do, I want to practice more level designs and try out more ideas, and since I'm always happy to help almost anyone, if you ever have any other levels that I could do that'd be great.

But if you want to add variety and have a different person design every level that's cool, I was just checking to see if you wanted me for any other levels. So yeah, have a nice day.

I'll be sure to let you know if I run out of level designers (which I probably will). When I run out, you can pick from the different types of levels listed in the first post.

I might like to finish up that level once I'm done with the one I'm working on.

Speaking of, how long and hard is it supposed to be (no innuendo intended)?

You can make it farily long. I don't care if it's really long, but it just can't be really short. Also, make the difficulty about the same as the section of the level I made, which is about medium-difficulty.

Also, I recently made this userbar for the hack.
If you want to support this hack, copy and paste this code into your signature:

It looks like this:

K then cool, Just wondering how did you get that awesome layout design whenever you post.

Okay, so I downloaded BlockTool from SMWcentral. I managed to get how to use everything down, just one problem. What does the Map16 number represent and how do I know which one is the custom block I created. Some help would be grateful with this situation.

Go to the Map16 Editor, then go to the piece you want the block to be on, then on the bottom left, it should say 0x(number Here) In Blocktool, type the (Number Here).

K then thanks a lot, i'll have to check out your YouTube account.

Well you see, you could say Mario World was a one of a kind Mario game. At least the only famous Mario game to have such a comfortable jumping and movement mechanic. Yet, there are other games like Mario World with the same graphics and mechanics that are Mario games. Such as Mario's Time Machine, and Mario's Preschool Fun. They were educational sure, but the mechanics of those games are an exact replica of your modern SMW.

However double-A V, if you were hoping for an actual good game that had the same feel as it, really you should only look in the Mario department. You don't see this in Sonic, or Crash Bandicoot, or Sly Cooper. The Mario series has a one of a kind movement mechanic and I would encourage to keep looking there. So best of look to you, for finding said RAM values in Mario's Time Machine, etc.

Hope it was informative ^^

Yeah, it's a weird glitch in SMW for the paths to randomly occur like that, I know this probably but here's something you don't want to do. Try to understand me if you can here:

The exit tiles used in Bowser's Valley and I believe the Forest Of Illusion |-O ,if they are like one on a map on top of another map, and they look as if they link together, instead of going to your designated pathway they link to the other exit tile below it and has Mario go off screen to the level below your said exit tile, and you can play that level, this is not good at all for a SMW editor trying to go to say the Overworld but instead to this other world. However it could make a good secret :P
