Well in my slight defense, smwExpert is my only real connection with the hacking community. I would like to get custom graphics for the OW up and running, unfortunately my specialty lies in Photoshop art and not 8-bit art. If an artist is willing to help, this would be much appreciated.

An expedition is sent to Blackwood Island to try and colonize it for the territories of the Mushroom Kingdom. Mario is aboard this ship to protect the new colonizers, as many expeditions have mysteriously ceased contact with the island. Mario is an accomplished soldier of the Kingdom, and is sent because of his prowess in battle.
The expedition crashes on a giant rock, and Mario is knocked unconscious. When he awakens, he is left alone on the remains of the ship, and begins to explore the island in search of his crewmates.
I will give the rest of the plot later, I also don't want to spoil anything so I'll do that in black text.
This is all tentative depending on the help we can recruit with graphics and the sort. I would like to have a sprite slightly different than the original Mario, and eventually very new graphics. For now we will work with what we have, as smwExpert and I have very little experience with graphics. Hopefully Mario won't have to be Mario and the Mushroom Kingdom can then be changed, cause Mario is generally overused. I can settle for Mario if need be though. Let's see the help we can get first.
