When I put some exgfx on a map16 yesterday, I noticed that another exgfx map 16 in another level had it's properties changed. How did this happen and how do I fix this? Also, what happens if I run out of pages to put Map16 tiles on?
Thanks!
In some ExGFX I used, one of the tiles was not working properly, like it said on the webpage for it. I opened the editor and changed it's properties from 130 to 1DE and clicked OK. But, I opened the editor for the tile and it said 130 again. How do I fix this?
In SpriteTool, if you insert sprites at 00, 001, etc, do they overwrite already existing sprites in the ROM? Are there adresses that are empty that you can write to? Also, how do you put a sprite into the "Custom Collection of Sprites" in the Lunar Magic add sprites window?
EDIT: Also, are the ExGFX for the sprites inserted in the same way as the normal ExGFX?
Don't close it yet!
Now 3 event 3s have appeared on the overworld. 3 events are listed as event 3. how do I fix this? How do I change the second 2 event 3s into events 4 and 5?
On one of my levels, the level and path are set to go up when the level is completed. The event happens, but the game won't move up the path when up is pressed. The level direction is set to up when the level is completed. How can I fix this?
It wasn't. I fixed the problem now, as it was a problem with one of the green paths in the overworld. Any way, another quick problem: In a few new events, the level dot won't show up when the event happens, yet it's visible before the event and after the player dies or completes the level. How do I fix this?
I set a castle to activate event 7 when it is completed, but it activates event 6 instead when completed. The destroy level tile settings for the top half doesn't have event 7 on the list.
How do I fix this problem? I saved the overworld after telling the castle tile to activate event 7.
I have 2 exit tiles between yoshi's island and Donut plains that are in the same positions as the normal game. All the settings are correct and I used a clean ROM as a reference. The green paths are correct too. But when I try this in an emulator, mario returns to the same screen after touching the exit tile and returns to the same screen after fade-out, and ends up in the endless bonus game. I have tried everything I know. I even watched a tutorial for further reference. How do I fix this???
