Tip: Remaking levels from other Mario games is strongly discouraged, especially popular ones (World 1-1 from SMB or SMB3, for example), as their over-presence in Mario games, official or not, often makes them uninteresting to play.
I revealed the path on event 6, which is what the castle uses when comnpleted. The exit tiles are in the original places, so that shouldn't affect anything. What is causing this?
Another easier way would be to just open the ROM in Lunar Magic, and say yes when it asks you to add a header. Then all you need to do it patch it and you're good to go!
When you want to release a demo of your hack, don't submit a copy of the hacked ROM. Make an IPS patch with Lunar IPS, and test the patch on a clean SMW ROM before submitting it.
I inserted a sprite using spritetool, but I manually inserted the sprite and I got an undefined custom sprite instead (a red x). for command, I put 02 and extra info 2 as those are the settings for the sprite. How do I fix this??? Another thing is that when I download sprites, they don't come with graphics files. How do I fix that as well?
How do I add a header to this game? I know how to on SMW but not this. Also I have NO IDEA on how to use SNES tool, and the readme doesn't help either.
I just tried that. Still having problems. The green paths don't seem to be off either. If you spot anything in my above pic that might be causing this, you can point it out.
Is there a version of Addmusic where you can do all of the functions inside the program (like spritetool), instead of having to make a copy of the cmd command line? Thanks!
